There's also an issue with Poldark regarding their hens. I'm reliably informed they look like Warrens which weren't around (like oil tankers) in the time frame they're trying to portray.
Don't get me started on historically inappropriate breeds of livestock used on tv programmes!!! It's a particular bee in my bonnet - someone must've heard me shouting yesterday evening.
I hope all this Poldark interest doesn't encourage more folk to visit the west country. Saw 2 caravans on Saturday heading this way. ggrr
Hosta, can you head them off at the pass? We're making our usual pilgimage down your way in September and we really don't want the place to be full up with trippers!!!
And yes - consider a gauntlet thrown - have you got any Alpinas yet? If you have, you've probably not got enough
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hello everyone, I hope you've all had good days. We have been sooooo busy, the phone hasn't stopped ringing all day - but that' a good thing, I'm not moaning
On the Poldark debate, I don't really do historical dramas so I caught up on GW and the Hellebores, I quite enjoy looking at the pictures though.....not bad on they eye at all.
Has Clari got a new addition, did I miss that, are there pics?? x
Evening all, Not taken much notice of the weather here in Worcester today. Noticed a bit of drizzle when we went to Rhythm and Rhyme today. Whoever decided Peppa Pig should enjoy jumping in muddy puddles should be shot at dawn! That was another change of clothes for Mabel when we got home.
Looks like weather is going to improve towards the end of the week so hopefullyl I'll get some gardening in when I get back home.
I have to say that I'm not noticing any problems on the Poldark front. It's probably because I seem to be suffering from some sort of tunnel vision whenever it's on the TV.

Had to swap one out-of-stock clematis for another but my shy 5 will be arriving on Wednesday
