Perhaps you should wear white gloves like the Queen OL, bekkie and rosemummyimage

They might get a bit grubby in the garden though.  Must admit I am more relaxed about things.  Obviously I always wash my hands before preparing food, after toilet etc.but not every time I stroke the dog or touch door handles etc.

I have been known to rummage through bins too.  OK - my bins but years ago my parents were here at Christmas and Dad was in a panic as he thought he had thrown a roll of camera film (it was a while ago) away.  I had everything out of that bin - turkey carcass, leftover stuffing, image  When I got to the bottom he told me he had just found it in his toilet bagimage  I sure did wash my hands thenimage

Just in for a quick lunch - youngest daughter informed me that the Commonwealth baton relay thingy went down the road near our house. I wondered what the cones were doing there when I went to work this morning. Thought it might be to stop people parking as it's a narrow road along to the farm .

Do you think Woody will take some pants to throw at Tom? image

Very thundery and overcast here. More rain overnight so it saves watering most stuff.

Off for a quick look round before I go back to work.

Have a good day everyone image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi everyone,  Have been a bit busy with grandchildren, daughters broken ankle, visit to Windsor/Hampton Court, etc etc.  Have skimmed the posts but they all seem mixed up now, my short term memory just gets worse.  All I can seem to remember is

Tomato problems - hope you get them sorted

Agapanthus - I grow mine in the garden

New Baby - congratulations and love the name

Interview - hope it went well

Disappointing Hampton Court - not as exciting as I hoped, I actually prefered the NEC show.  I didnt go until sunday and I think the hot weather had took its toll on some of the plants.

Daughter and grandchildren off on hols the weekend so I should get a bit more time and feel a bit more relaxed, in the meantime I'm off to do some deadheading and feed the birds.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

    Hello all

  • My friend, imageimage, says I am in touch with my feminine side, but throwing Y-fronts may be a step too far....doubt if they are Tom's size anywayimageimage.

Oh Ww - I see now.  I thought she said "throwing plants"image

Hi Gg - Did I hear you would like some crocosmia for the station?  If so please message me as I'm going to thin mine out shortly.  They are only the run of the mill type but do look nice late in the season.

Glad you are getting a bit of peace Yvie and hope your daughter is recovering. Stacey thought the same about HC which is a shame for such a "significant" show. They will have to learn to be people friendly.

The rain has been very welcome Fairy and as you say saves time with watering everythingimage  That baton has been everywhereimage
