Going to the Garden Centre tomorrow (spoken in very hushed tone). OH hates going but has agreed as I need more potting compost. I can only tempt him by going to one that has lots of goodies to eat. I might buy a plant or two (again spoken in a very hushed tone).
Thank you all for your kindness about the little pussycat. I was feeling a bit low about it.
Went shopping this morning, hung out washing, lunched, had a snooze, watched Escape to the Country, where has the day gone? Must clear out the dead tomatoes in the GH and plant out the rest of the violas.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Star gazer and Lily, my neighbour in a previous life always called a clematis that other name, he genuinely thought that was correct. Till the day we left none of us could correct him, it was just too good an entertainment!!
Maybe this could be a good new thread? "What did you think it was called?"
Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.” A A Milne
Verdun no visit is wasted, you checked she was okay
Pdoc maybe a sawn off shot gun, was it James Caan in a cowboy film who couldn't hit a rump steak and had to have one
Dove those leaping plants get everywhere.
Fairy you had me in stitches about the bandage, don't need it but do wish the holding & touching furniture would cease, maybe if a duster was used at the same time I'd be happy Seriously, he's improving and looking forward to Pdoc's remedy later, wish I hadn't mentioned that to him as he keeps asking if it's medicine time
Lesley soz to hear about your Mum falling again, very worrying for you, hope both parents behave until you get there.
Clematis LOL, I understand
Clari still no sign of your pants here
Lizzie hugs but you know you did the right thing for the poorly cat.
See you all later, best check OH isn't doing anything daft.
