Oh no :-( as a complete garden novice and not knowing a thing, since pandemic I have used this frequently and it’s helped me so much with the advice given.
Such a great crowd. Thank you to everyone who has given me advice and helped me to identify things over the years.
Does anyone know a way of saving the advice I have been given? There’s so many posts and I won’t be able to see it anymore :-( can’t it be archived do we can just look at advice? Pleeeeeeeease!!
I'm hoping the exact same thing @fizzyliz Far too much valuable information on here to scrap it and it go to waste. So many of us would love to be able to look up the help and information and advice on here. So please, please save it and let us look over all the advice so many of us have given and received over So many years.
I just saw your post -very kind of you @*Astrantia* - but I really want to know who was rude to you - then we can all make sure we avoid them if they suddenly appear on the other forum. I think I know who it was though - and he won't be tolerated over there
That's a pity you didn't get notified @Cebe, but not surprising, given the shambles that's happening. I hope you can have a look at the other forum many of us have joined.
Apologies Dove [the bloody @ thing isn't working now!] I meant to reply to your message. Will do it when I get organised The site's closing - we have no control of that , so people will either need to go elsewhere [and G's Corner isn't as complicated as people are thinking it is] or find something else to occupy themselves. That's life.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
@Fairygirl there's a poster on here that a few people have commented on. And although I'd never come across them on here, I've seen that poster on GC Let's hope we don't have any problems 🤞
The GC Admin have just said “…One thing perhaps also worthy of note - if anyone has photos on GW that they want to preserve, feel free to copy them to GC. If that means starting a suitable thread, go for it! Evan screenshots can be saved, so you could in theory screenshot posts with good advice/information that you want to retain.…”
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
It's the one with the private profile @star gaze lily - who often posts late at night. With then ame he clearly thinks is hilarious.... I know who you mean though. There's another one who popped up again a couple of days ago - I won't bore you with the details, but grass is his thing. If he'd just behaved himself on here, people wouldn't have kept reporting him either. He also adopted a private profile, and I had a sneaky suspicion it was so that others couldn't see what he'd previously written. I took screen shots though....

😆😆 Well done @Fairygirl I've seen David K on GC but it was an old post. Do hope I can find a more recent one and he's still on there. Such a lovely man.
