This forum could be archived. That would be better. How to do it?
They'd probably still have to pay for an archive to be hosted somewhere.
Me too. Just awaiting authorisation. How do,you start a new thread on there @JennyJ?
I went to the area that I wanted to post in (New Members Introduction in this case) and there's a blue "post new thread" box at the top right. I clicked that and filled in the title and text then clicked something to post it (can't remember exactly what that bit said).

I see several people from here have replied on my thread (thanks all), as well as a welcome from an established member, and a few that I don't recognise (is ClematisDbee the same person as our @clematisdorset ? maybe, maybe not)

I apparently have 4.3k points. I'm guessing they're worth the sum total of nothing at all :D .

I have joined with a very similar name, @JennyJ. Not going to fill in any more details on there until I have learnt what is what. The GC website is a bit overwhelming for a newbie, but hopefully it won't take too long to understand. I want to spend time checking links on here that I found really useful.
Sorry to witness the demise of the forum. 😥😥😥😡😡😡I am Spartacus

    I have earned 14.5k points … apparently … that’s how long I’ve been here … 🙄

What was the point of the recent " join our members panel" recently?

Many businesses fail just after they have invested a lot of money.

  • well what disappointing news that is !!!

  • I'm astonished there seems to have been no time or possibly to hand this over to somebody else who is prepared to take on the hosting and management.

I'm not surprised, to be honest.
When you look at who owns the forum, they must have hated the talk about the genocide in Gaza.
