Hello everyone. Iām a bit late coming on today. Hubby arranged for some tech blokes to come and do something to his internet, so Iāve been laying low while they fiddled with stuff. Ā All done now and itās supposed to quicker as well. Not that Iād know. š„¹
Hope youāre all feeling better today. We had rain last night and itās cool ish today. No complaints.Ā
Good morning all š āļøĀ Thankfully a better night than the previous one ⦠ my neck did wake me but Iād got paracetamol ready to hand and once theyād kicked in I was able to sleep again.Ā
Hope they can sort King Charlesā condition quickly and relatively simply ⦠think heās Ā been a much needed breath of fresh air to tge monarchy so far.Ā
Glad the weatherās more comfortable @āPat E" šĀ

thank you for listening guys. Yes it is awkward but I feel more at ease about it today. To tell it all my neighbour rented this house at half the going rate because she only wanted the money to top up the fees for her mum's nursing home. And that is the problem: they can't find anything at this price. So you do a favour (like @Allotment Boy and catching cold giving a lift) and this is where it gets you. C'est la vie.
Sounds promising @D0rdogne_Damsel, go slowly and with eyes wide open. Charlie might do it again, I hope not of course, but it is sort of a right of passage, my boys both did a couple of times, or three.Ā
Very grey and drizzly, how boring. The man came yesterday and did a good job of what I asked, so I will call him again if I need more work. I was sorry to see the lavender go but needs must.Ā
Well the rain has just arrived here in Wales, almost exactly at its forecasted time, getting windy as well so that is us sorted until tomorrow morning when a spell of dry weather is forecast before the next lot of rain arrives for the night. Then we have the possibility of snow arriving on Thursday morning. Wish I still had my old cat as without fail she would have zoomies round the house and garden three days before any snow arrived, marvellously useful if any special preparations were needed. She was never wrong bless her. Down in our wooded area we have two large 'clumps' of snowdrops (2'x3'), not sure how they got there or where they came from, but in walking passed on her way to check the fencing on our far borders, daughter noticed that something/someone had been pulling bulbs out from one corner and leaving them lying exposed. She gathered most of them up and carried them back with her, they all look very healthy and have nice little green shoots poking through so think they will be ok. Tomorrow morning I will pop them into the ground somewhere suitable and keep my fingers crossed. Have just realised that what I have written above is actually about a gardening proceedure instead of my usual twaddle. Amazing! And bless you all for taking the time to read my mostly long 'twaddling' posts.
