Friends left about 30 mins ago. School night for them and they have a 90 minute drive to one house then another 30 mins to the other. Supper was a success🙂

Busy, I bet your friend was a bit stressed by her journey. I really dislike being late to anything arranged, though I do know it can't be helped in many cases - especially with accidents and/or roadworks. I forgot to say yesterday that it was National Hot Chocolate Day yesterday and I couldn't help but think about Chey - one of our former Rezzers.

Good morning @Ladybird4 and all to follow. Hope you slept well after your horrible day yesterday I suppose it’s some comfort that you were seen even if it was unnecessary.
Off to work, early finish and youngest son at mine for tea tonight.
It’s my big birthday this month. I am going to Wales with a group of ladies, friends and relatives, for a fun weekend starting tomorrow. Lots to organise before I go.

Hope you slept well @Ladybird4 I heard it was hot chocolate day too LB knew of Chocolate day and hadn't heard of that one before. ☕️ Are you going to have a relaxing day today. @debs64 hope work goes well and it's not too busy. I can't see how pharmacy's will sort things out in the long run, they will just get inundated with problems instead of the Drs and with queues out the door, with people wanting help with being seen for minor illnesses. Never mind people picking up medication etc.
Good morning Debs and SGL. I slept extremely well last night, thank you and am looking forward to a relaxing day - after I clear up the cacti pots that Cricket thought it would be a good idea to upset. This is the second time he has done this so I'll have to have a rethink. I'm just pleased that the cacti are still in 'dry mode' so their sandy, stony compost will be easy to clean up.
Debs, you are right. I am extremely pleased that I am being 'looked after' by the NHS and I will always be eternally grateful for the way they managed my cancer for me. I just query the Surgery's pharmacist who thought ringing someone at 01:00 in the morning and filling them with apprehension was perhaps a good idea. I mean, what on earth was he doing working at that time? Anyway its gone and after my letter is posted I will dismiss the whole episode.
Ooh big birthday Debs? Very exciting, planning for that. A weekend away will be the perfect celebration.
