We went out for a short walk but OH's leg was aching a bit, the hip replacement one. It does when he's tired.
It's quite windy outside. I was thinking of pruning Ghislaine de Féligonde this afternoon. I found that a bit of fence was broken, OH has just been outside and mended it. That bit could do with replacing but I think it belongs to next door but 2 and he's having chemo for cancer at the moment, so we'll leave it for a bit. He was chatting with NDN yesterday when I was gardening. NDN said he tried to shoot the cockerel but he missed and it flew off.

Busy, sorry but I had to lol at your neighbour trying to eliminate the poor cockerel.Hope your OH’s hip is feeling a little easier now. Ive spent all day in the garden tidying the rest of the border and then onto another border, sorted out some plants in the greenhouse, planted out a couple more foxgloves, potted on the broad beans and transferred some pots into the cold frames. It had started to get coolish and quite windy so called it a day but I’m pleased with the garden and how it’s shaping up for the summer. so did sow some verbena Bonarensis seeds just over a week ago but nothing is showing yet. Have got them on the kitchen windowsill where I did last years seeds.
Well it’s turned wet and blustery this afternoon. It wasn’t too bad this morning and didn’t feel too cold, but it certainly feels cooler now.
It sounds as if you had a lovely evening @Ladybird4. It’s nice to be able to have a dance in good company now and again (though I find my knees get the monk on next day and give me some grief, so I tend to keep dancing to a minimum nowadays, sadly 😁).
Good afternoon all. Surprisingly I am not feeling too bad after yesterday's dance marathon. The old joints are holding up well. I am so envious of those people who managed to get into their gardens today. The wind here has been really cold and, as @Red maple says, very blustery.
Oh no Busy! Please ask neighbour not to shoot the cockerel. I'm glad he missed. Poor thing is just being 'normal'.

A very good morning one and all. Today might turn out to be a gardening day as, so far, I think its is dry outside. The wind last night may have upended pots in my garden so the minute it gets light I'll be checking on those. Quiz league starts tonight so I hope my brain hasn't got too rusty since C*******s!

Morning LB and Rubee.Windy again here this morning, haven’t been out but garden okay for now after the weekends efforts. The Christmas cactus we bought recently has started dropping its buds so OH has suggested we don’t grow anymore and just give it up. For some reason we have never been that successful at growing plants inside except in our old house where we had a porch( facing South) and the cactus loved it in there. They flowered profusely every year. Hope Ante has a decent week at work and doesn’t overdo work at the cottage or home. Morning wave 👋👋 to everyone else.
