LB - OH still orders a bag of scraps when we have f&c. Weird 'cos he sometimes leaves a bit of the batter off his fish as a nod towards healthier eating...๐Ÿ˜‚

Enjoy your lunch out and hope Ruby enjoys her dinner. I could quite fancy a chinese. I'm making kedgeree for dinner tonight.

    Packing is going very slowly...

Good afternoon all. I had a delicious meal today. It was a tuna bagette with cheese accompanied by chips, a lovely salad and some home made red cabbage coleslaw. My only disappointment was that I was so full after eating all that meal I had no room for the dessert I had planned - a Sicilian lemon tart with sorbet. Perhaps just as well as I am losing weight - deliberately - as I put on a few pounds over the festive season.
T'Bird that is hilarious! I love kedgeree. To me that is a real comfort food.

I am signing out for today. Could be a nice quiet day for me tomorrow. Might get some seeds sown. Time to wake up my cacti too. They will get their first watering for 6 months. I love the smell of the terracotta plant pots when the first water soaks into them. Enjoy your meals Ruby and T'Bird and I hope you all have lovely evenings.

    Good evening all.ย

It's finally the end of one very very long day. I came home half an hour ago. First after school I went to the GC to collect my potatoes. This time everything went well, but the price is exactly doubled since last year. Then I popped in Lidl and bought some lovely seeds and canna tubers. And on the end my neighbor asked to help with moving old furniture from bedroom to the skip. Now I need cup of tea and bed.ย  ย

    Evening all,

    Another week done.

Down to 20 'full on' days left and, maybe, another 10 'easier' ones after that. I've been tapped up for another project that is currently due to start in Sept. I've agreed to it in principle but hope it gets delayed a little!
