    Morning all,

Just quietly Marti again this morning :( I'm going to make some repairs to the shed roof today no matter what though!

I didn't get into the garden yesterday. Did a SM run mid-morning on a Saturday, which is my idea of hell but needs must. I'm home alone all week so needed to go.

I've got a new cat trespassing on my property and a regular visitor sitting on the shed roof, so I'll wear gloves and take out a nappy sack when gardening later.

Morning all. AWOL yesterday as OH had been very sick during Friday night, was sick multiple times  so we didn’t get much sleep. We were up until about 4am with all the being sick. We had a quiet day yesterday, both absolutely shattered. OH feeling much  better this morning so maybe something he ate? Who knows.
Not up to much today really so please excuse me from posting for a bit as so much to do and little energy to do it.

Afternoon all. Hazel. I am so sorry to read your post about your OH being sick all Friday night. It certainly does sound as if it was something he might have eaten. Did he eat anything different to what you ate? You do well to rest and your OH to take in lots of fluids so he isn't dehydrated.

    That's a nice collection of plants Ruby🙂

Hope you and your OH are feeling a bit brighter tomorrow Hazel. I had a night of that when we were in the camper in Croatia last September. Must have been a bug because OH started feeling crook later the next day. Can't remember when I was last as sick as that - probably when I was a child. Horrible.

We've made it as far as our first hotel in Hamsterjam. Flight to Buenos Aires isn't until tomorrow evening so very much a day of hanging about. We'll have been travelling for well over 48hrs by the time we get there. It will be worth it - but I'll be glad when it's over. We've now got lots of things that were just sci-fi on Star Trek - but I do wish somebody would hurry up and invent a transporter. Beam me up Scotty....

    See you tomorrow!

The house painting man popped by this morning. We chose the paint colours and he may start while we are in France, depends on the weather. The cottage will be cream again with greeny grey windows and doors. It hasn't been painted for years.

I spent 3 hours in the garden this afternoon and nearly filled the garden bin with prunings. I removed masses of dead wood from the huge clematis montana that suffered badly in the drought of 2022.
