Morning all. Cold, windy but sunny today. Think I may pot up the dahlia tubers today and pop them in the greenhouse, It’s warming up nicely in there now so they should be okay. The tubers aren’t particularly good looking, thin and long but will give them a go. Might put them in the ground( if I can find somewhere for them) this year ( later on when grown a bit) as they do tend to outgrow the large pots we have.
Waiting for a parcel to be delivered from The Works today. The Works look to be in a spot of bother now and will probably go the way of many known brands/shops from the High Street before long. We don’t have any nice shops left now.  Mind you, we no longer have a High Street!
    Have a good day everyone.
Hello to @star gaze lily , @Topbird and @Yviestevie if they’re looking in.

Did my early shop before it got too busy and was home and had everything put away by 09:10. Then Marti arrived. I picked up (rescued) two bowls of Tête-à-têtê daffodils. They were as dry as a bone and I was also seduced by a Clematis Wisley Cream, so that came home with me too.
Ruby and Debs, like @Biglad, I was horrified by your tales of smoking and yesteryear. Mind you, my maternal grandmother was a smoker but I'm not sure that was for medicinal purposes!
Hazel, I didn't know that about The Works as there is one in my local GC and I often buy craft stuff there - remember the fairy houses we built a few years ago? I got a lot of things from there. Like you - we don't have a high street here anymore either. Town centre looks like a bomb site as the new development progresses.

I am signing out for tonight. Nothing very interesting to me on the box (Ante = TV) tonight so I am off to read. Hair do day tomorrow at Bestie's, as well as gossip catch up. I hope that you all enjoy your evenings. See you in the morning before I leave.
Hope Ante is feeling recovered and that SGL and Yvie are OK.

Waited in all day for a delivery for which I paid for a next day delivery but it never came so not best pleased. We have to go out tomorrow so if it comes then it can’t be helped.

Signing out for today. Night all.

Good morning to one and all.

First I'm sorry for my absence last few days. Now I'm feeling much better, only my nose makes me problems. Maybe because of it's size. 😂 Two days ago I was at cottage. Don't worry, I didn't work to much, just few small things. Also I had a lovely surprise yesterday. I was expecting delivery with food for my pets, and delivery guy said that there are two more packages for my, already paid. My sister sent my two large boxes with all sorts of treats for all my animals, including birds and fishes. She will also arrive in early April for two weeks. It certainly made my day. It's time to finish my tea and prepare for school.

Hope you are all well, and wish you a lovely day. Btw., it's rain and wind outside.

Hazel, I would have been really cross as well - especially paying extra. Was this the parcel from The Works? I had deliveries yesterday that were two and three days after my purchases and I have to admit that I never pay for next day delivery.

    Morning all.

Nothing happened yesterday, apart fom unmentionables and the weekly SM shop.

Today we are going to our bestie friends for lunch.

I'm sure you have a lovely nose @Ante. It looked fine when you sent that photo some time ago.
