Definitely not pretty any more @Busy-Lizzie!

Good that your tree man has done the job at the right time. OH still hasn't pruned the apple trees yet as the weather just hasn't been good enough. It's not a job I can do any more as I haven't got the strength in my right shoulder to operate the long handled pruner - very annoying. Still, there's still lots of January left.

Morning all. Whew!  I opened the veranda door and the gadget showed 49c.
I hurriedly opened the windows and came back inside. An inside day for me I guess.

    Hi all

Another night wake, and lots of pain, this hip is certainly an up and down process. Off for a wound check today, first time in the car since leaving hospital.

Good morning @punkdoc. Safe journey too hospital and back.
Very cold, bedroom temp is 14.4, I am typing under the duvet. Not much happening today, aquagym restarts today, but should I go in these temps?

Hi Dove. It’s been a bit too warm for me today, but there’s a small breeze wafting in at the moment. 👏👏

Morning all. Positively freezing here, never been so cold indoors for several years. However the howling wind has dropped somewhat so hoping the temperatures will climb a little too.
Good luck with your appointment today @punkdoc, hopefully they will confirm that in spite of all the pain, things are progressing normally.

Thanks all, I don’t think the time of year helps, My mood is always low at this time, and unlike first hip in the summer, I can’t just go and sit in the garden for a while.

Morning everyone,  we have some sun here, it's lovely behind the glass,  but she'd and greenhouse roofs are white.  Hope the checkup goes well @punkdoc.
I slept much better last night,  but I had resorted to an ibuprofen again,  but also the boiler repair is now scheduled for pm so I wasn't thinking about getting up early to be ready.
