    Evening all.
I'm SO fed up with the non stop rain, I'm going off to Scotland / Kent  to visit family, then flying off to Hurghada for a week on the 13th.
Hugs to all who need  / want one, especially @punkdoc
    Devon.

Sorry, @coccinella and @Dovefromabove, I got the two of you mixed up. Thanks for the link coccinella, very interesting so I've downloaded it and saved it. Pleased to see a lot of the plants I've got are on the list.

    Good evening all,

Weather is seemingly very miserable everywhere, I'm so fed up of the rain. And mud, mud everywhere, just getting from car to front door, mud, went to pay the wood man and car nearly got stuck in the mud, did the recycling, mud, awful!

Enjoyed our evening yesterday, I do so love being surrounded by people. Quiet evening tonight, washing to be done, but tomorrow is the staff Christmas party, very simple affair, but will be nice to relax together. Then Saturday I'm going to a birthday party, I was very pleased to be invited, I am determined this year to try and get out more and meet new people.

And on that note, this time next week I'll be in Alicante! I'm meeting a friend there, she spends a lot of time there so I'm hoping we'll have a good time, she knows all the good places to go. We're hoping to do some walking there too, including a climb up to see  The Cross of Benidorm.

    2024, so far so good!

Safe travels everyone, take care in that dreadful weather, and an especially big hug (gentle of course), to @punkdoc

    @Hostafan1 enjoy the sunshine! Xxx

    I’m ignoring the weather … it’s just attention-seeking. 🙄

Morning all.  Very heavy rain again throughout the night. Checked the rain gauge a while ago - another 27 mils. It’s all good though because it flows down to the river which could do with a good clean out. 😏

I’m gradually getting yesterday’s washing off the line, The bits that could be tumbled ,have been done and folded for putting away. The undies and socks are on a drying rack in here.  I’m pretty sure the next lot of rain is getting close.

    Morning,

That's great news @punkdoc, sleep is absolutely the best medicine. 😴😴😴

Always s good feeling to get the washing dried @Pat E, although it does then create a pile of ironing. 🫣

Still raining here, but at least it's warm, no need for heating on. Miserable though, I've not been able to get out and do anything in the garden for what seems like months.

    Have a good day all.

Morning DD. I can’t remember the last time I used an iron. 😳. I just fold the shirts and that’s that. 😁
