    Well done @Pat E 👍

Hope @punkdoc is feeling a bit more comfortable…. you too @tui34 … take it steady.

Apparently I slept through the fireworks 😂 … I heard folk chatting as they walked home later so thought I’d get this thread started … then I went back to sleep … now we have 7C and sunshine … more like this please 😎

A very happy New Year to you all, lets wish for health, happiness and peace. I was in bed well before midnight with a good book, a few fireworks close by but nothing intrusive.
I will catch up with you all later after I have filled the bird feeders and had a wander round the garden to see if there are any flowers for the NY flower count.

    Good morning all,
It’s looking a much better day today than yesterday, with blue sky and so far dry. I haven’t been outside yet, but I think it might be chilly.
We had a nice evening with some of our neighbours last night. They left around 2am, so by the time we’d tidied up and had a cuppa it was just after 3 (hence the early post @Dovefromabove).
Not sure what the plans for today are but will hopefully fit in a walk.
I hope your hip pain is less today @punkdoc

Oh dear … not a good day for folks in Japan … a big earthquake … they’re waiting for the tsunami. Hope it’s not too awful … 🤞

May I join in and wish everyone a Happy New Year?

I have been outside in my dressing gown this morning to clean out the bird feeders - this has been wanting to be done for ages so thought I'd better get it done whilst it's sunny - I don't think it will last, but hopefully they will dry and I can refill them later.

Good morning and a happy 2024.

Thank you Dove as always for thinking of us. Just watched Shaun the Sheep, Farmaggeddon 😄
A couple of friends are coming for lunch, then if the weather holds we will have a little walk. And that's it for the festivities.

Hi everyone, happy new year. It’s been a while, but I’m determined to get myself back into gardening mood this year. I missed the chatter and encouragement.
