Yes @Songbird-2, another leak, but this time it’s not as severe but still needs dealing with. The one in the kitchen extension required a bucket to catch the water. I hope it won’t run to the said tradition and come in threes so we get another - it really doesn’t need to bother 🤞😲.
I agree with you @Red maple, no more leaks! 2 is quite enough. Hope it gets sorted soon for you. We need to get an old ( blown) light bulb replaced in the light unit outside on the house wall (at the back of house)before we can get a new one but we are waiting for a decent day to go climbing😬 ( Could do with @Biglad for this job🤭😂). It's an old light so goodness knows what watt it is or the size of it. Why do these things alway happen in the worst weather and at the wrong time of year?🤔😉 I'm signing off for today so have a good evening. Night all.
Good morning everybody. Off to Bestie's today. Loaded the two bin bags full of clothes for Ukraine back into the car boot as I had removed them for when I went shopping. I have a lot of stuff for the food bank - we are not there until next week. A friend of mine had given me a kind donation and I spent it on tinned meat products, which we always run out of very quickly, when I shopped. Finally I have a cardboard box full of stuff for the Sue Ryder shop near Bestie's so we will be having a run out.

I had been losing weight, lost 10lbs since August, but since OH came home I've probably gained weight! I seem to lose weight in France and gain it in England. Must be something in the air!

It's been a cracking gardening week so far, weather-wise. Shame I'm 'imprisoned' for the foreseeable.
Spent 15 mins yesterday creating an account with a pension company so that I could opt out of a pension that I've been opted into against my will. Aside from all the personal info lodged in another place that could be misused in the future, why should I have to go through the rigmarole on every job At 40+ jobs and counting, by the time I'm done, that'll be the best part of a waking day of my life completing an utterly pointless but compulsory task!
Morning all. Have been to SM for some of weekly shop and then will wait for a delivery this afternoon. Bitterly cold here although temperatures are showing higher than yesterday. It also started raining whilst we were out so a miserable day again ahead. Treated myself to a nice summer blouse ( yup! the winter clothes are going off the shelves to be replaced with tee shirts , blouses and the such like). I am now in the process of clearing a drawer in kitchen where everything is just chucked in and it's a total mess. What a job and where does half the stuff come from in these drawers?😲🤔 I have a hair appointment tomorrow which I'll be glad of, my hair seems to have grown quite a lot since my last appointment. LB, hope you're having a good time with bestie and clearing some of your stuff out. Your handy brother plus @biglad would have our job done in no time! Biglad, poor you with all those jobs to do today, you'll be earning your pennies today. Busy, well done on that weight loss, that's quite a lot, nearly a stone. Keep up the good work if you can.
Evening everyone, been very cold out today, even with sunshine and beautiful blue skies. Snow is still hanging around, but slowly going. I have a drawer like that @Songbird-2 have no idea where some of it comes from🤣 will sort mine at the weekend.
