Good morning all. The wild weather woke me at 03:00 this morning. I've just had to go and pick up my recycle bin which had been blown over with the strong winds - thanks Pia! Hope the refuse collecters come early today. Off to Bestie's and I'm having my hair done too. Fingers crossed for no trees blocking the way.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
It's a tad breezy out there - the noise of wheelie bins roaming and their contents rattling into every nook and cranny has been pretty constant It's going to be a bit messy when it gets light. I haven't put our two bins out yet and plan to wait until I see the wagons going up the hill (they start collecting from the top).
Just nipped out to collect some of the plastic merrily bouncing around. I was thinking about not bothering getting our blue bin collected this time but it needs emptying now! Moved a blue bin from the middle of the road but couldn't see which grey bin was spilling card/paper in my front garden - that must have travelled a good way
Blowing around here too, on the north Kent coast. The front of our place faces NW, so is really catching it right now. Hope you catch all the plastic, etc, @Biglad Plus a fallen wheelie bin makes a lot of noise, @Ladybird4 Seems like a lot of us are catching this breeze!! Good morning!
So irritating, I've had a email from the post. They said I was out when they came to deliver my parcel, roses, at 7.50am. I had no notice that they were coming. I was lighting the wood burners but I hadn't opened the electric gate and I didn't hear them ring. They don't usually deliver before 11am.

Morning all. Thank you for the good wishes for OH's birthday. I've offered to take him out 'somewhere' but it's blowing a hoolie out there and he is less than enthusiastic - so I guess we'll be staying in (again). Have to collect some meds from the pharmacy - life is so exciting at this time of year!!
We'll have some good f&c tonight (by special request).
