So sorry to read your news @rowlandscastle444, and sincerely hope that it all gets sorted and goes ahead quickly. As you mention, so many things to βun sortβ if it doesnβt π².
I hope the antibiotics are beginning to work for your OH @Busy-Lizzie . You both must be so exhausted.
I spent this morning wrapping OH gifts whilst he was out. Iβve just got the labels to write for them now, but it wonβt cause a muddle as there are no other gifts to wrap, so those parcels Iβve hidden away are just for OH.
Itβs very, very cold here. There was a keen frost first thing, but thankfully no snow. The temps are beginning to fall again now.
Good afternoon all. Well I have broken the back of card writing but I've had enough for today. I've only about 20 more to do. I would like to get these all posted off this weekend. My overseas ones need to go then to make sure they get there.
Just been outside and the frost hasn't lifted at all. My neighbour's lawn looks like it is snow covered. I had to smack the centre of my bin lid to break the frozen seal so I could put the last of my rubbish in before the trundle down to the end of the drive for tomorrow's pick up. It was so nice to get back indoors.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
I've had a few forays outdoors today - I think I've got away with it without anyone noticing It's definitely a tad chilly @Ladybird4
I got a bag of ericaceous compost on Sunday but only got it out of the boot today. It was partly frozen when I opened it I've used it for potting another blueberry plant and a pernettya.Β
Just waiting for my work to be checked - it feels a lot like school!
@Biglad - at least they can't put you on the naughty step! I am not surprised your compost froze. I have had that happening to compost in my garage in the past. It has been beyond David Jason!

Yes, it passed, even without a comment. Its ten years old and it was its best test so far π
Thank you all for your best wishes. Now we need to find our way around the boxes.
Tomorrow!
