    Good afternoon everyone.

So sorry to read your news @rowlandscastle444, and sincerely hope that it all gets sorted and goes ahead quickly. As you mention, so many things to β€œun sort” if it doesn’t 😲.

I hope the antibiotics are beginning to work for your OH @Busy-Lizzie . You both must be so exhausted.

I spent this morning wrapping OH gifts whilst he was out. I’ve just got the labels to write for them now, but it won’t cause a muddle as there are no other gifts to wrap, so those parcels I’ve hidden away are just for OH.

It’s very, very cold here. There was a keen frost first thing, but thankfully no snow. The temps are beginning to fall again now.

    Wishing everyone a pleasant afternoon.

Good afternoon all. Well I have broken the back of card writing but I've had enough for today. I've only about 20 more to do. I would like to get these all posted off this weekend. My overseas ones need to go then to make sure they get there.
Just been outside and the frost hasn't lifted at all. My neighbour's lawn looks like it is snow covered. I had to smack the centre of my bin lid to break the frozen seal so I could put the last of my rubbish in before the trundle down to the end of the drive for tomorrow's pick up. It was so nice to get back indoors.

    Afternoon all,

I've had a few forays outdoors today - I think I've got away with it without anyone noticing ;) It's definitely a tad chilly @Ladybird4

I got a bag of ericaceous compost on Sunday but only got it out of the boot today. It was partly frozen when I opened it :o I've used it for potting another blueberry plant and a pernettya.Β

Just waiting for my work to be checked - it feels a lot like school!

Yes, it passed, even without a comment. Its ten years old and it was its best test so far πŸ˜…

  • We finally got solicitors to earn their money, and I was insistent that it be done TODAY.

Thank you all for your best wishes. Now we need to find our way around the boxes.

    Tomorrow!

@AvondalePatrick that is great news about your motor. Big sigh of relief for you - for another year anyway!
@rowlandscastle444, feet up, breathe deeply and count to ten. Still got everything crossed here for you.
Nice to see you again @Pauline 7. I hope that everything is going smoothly in your world.

@Biglad - at least they can't put you on the naughty step! I am not surprised your compost froze. I have had that happening to compost in my garage in the past. It has been beyond David Jason!
