Blowing a gale here this afternoon, not cold and sun is out. We've got gales forecast for tomorrow too with low temperatures. OH is making a lid for our tall planter and Ive been Β battening the hatches with some plant domes which keep blowing off.Β
Hello to all from Museum. I'm resting my feet a bit. Hazel you came in thru back door, and I'll for sure spent a night here. It was no in plans, but I was also in Hyde park and Kensington.Β
Good afternoon, Glad you are enjoying your trip to London @Ante1. Itβs very breezy here now, and of course, beginning to get dusk. The rain has so far held off for the most part, just a bit of drizzle now and again. OH and I have been away overnight, went to see Jools Holland and his band in Nottingham. A great evening again (weβve been to quite a few of his shows over the years). Some of the band were staying at the same hotel as us as they were having breakfast this morning when we were. We didnβt bother them, though, left them in peace to have their breakfast. Thats a lot of ties @rowlandscastle444, even after the cull π.
Good afternoon everyone. I managed 4 hours gardening today, it was really windy - sounds like your weather Hazel - but milder than yesterday and shortly after I finished and had put everything away it started to heave it down with rain. Got the smug face on here having achieved quite a lot of tidying up.
@rowlandscastle444 I absolutely love your ties. They are definitely 'keepers'! 40 ties - oh my goodness - and one per shirt! If they are just an 'indicator' it is no wonder you are having a job packing for your move!
Ante, glad you are enjoying the Museum. Be careful not to fall asleep as other visitors might think you are an exhibit!
I'll be able to duck out of work at some point tomorrow as I've pretty much done what I need to for this week. Hoping that I get lucky with a break or two in the weather.
Meant to say earlier @Biglad, I hope you can get out and get some gardening done. I forgot to say that whilst I was working in the garden I was aware of a sudden movement at my left foot. On closer inspection, through the heaps of cast off oak leaves, I saw a beautiful, big frog. I do hope it either gets back to the pond or finds a nice muddy patch in the garden so it can bury itself in the mud.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Lovely photos @Ante1 My workplace was very close to Oxford Street. About three minutes walk, close to Marble Arch. I miss it, and it's so good to see your photos.Β I hope you are really enjoying your trip to London.

I'm not prepared to answer that one. Let's just say - more than I am keeping!!
I had ties for work, and to go with almost every shirt I have.

Edited to add.
Plus keeping a couple of bow ties.
Glad you are enjoying your trip to London @Ante1.
