    Gosh, that's fascinating @Marlorena and something I've never noticed. When the rain stops (!) I must go and have a look on my climbers.

    I love the face, @Marlorena. I can see the horse too, but to me it looks more like the face of a whippet.

    Very nice Peter..  take your pick really, there are so many to choose from and the situation shouldn't matter too much..
    Considering the surrounding colours there, I might choose a strong red repeating rambler like 'Rambling Rosie' for instance.  It's quite showy, my neighbour has one.

    @pitter-patter, I think your structures are better quality than mine, but I don't know the answer. Mine was powder-coated tubular steel. I think recent rain and wind did for my arch which was a 'budget' item. 

    Your BMS rose is amazing! Next to the alliums, everything zings even more. Do post more photos when you can please!
