    @Marlorena, from your photos I assume that's what it means when DA say that a rose "will arrive cut back"? But why are they missing their leaves?

    Yes, I knew they would be cut back when I ordered.. they come in such huge boxes they could have left more growth on.. all the leaves got cut off when they were pruned, most roses don't have leaves right at the base except on short twiggy shoots, but they will leaf out again soon with the mild weather.

    Thanks, @Marlorena, somehow I thought those roses were striped of their leaves... total newbie here :) I guess there is no chance of them flowering this year, right?
