    Good evening all.

Just catching up after another busy week doing extra hours.

Thoughts go out to "plant pauper" and anyone else having a tough time.

    Take care all.

What a wonderful bedroom for Charlie @D0rdogne_Damsel, lots os space for lots of things. Has he been unpacking and arranging this evening?

My thoughts are with you and the family @plant pauper.
  • Evening all/ morning to some...

Thinking of you @plant pauper, difficult time for all.

Charlie ecstatic about his room, he's been 'sorting' it out all evening, although, and this is very bizarre, the field across the road from the house has become 'hippy rave' for the weekend, so we went over for a look around after dinner. Certainly an experience, never seen anything like it. All very nice, friendly, but definitely bizarre. Everyone dressed up, some fascinating 'hairstyles' , music/stage sets very professional but musicians 'unique'.... perhaps I've led a sheltered life... I got stopped twice by Gendarmes on the way to and from work, looking for drugs, sniffer dogs at the ready, they were definitely looking in the wrong place, a rather distinctive smell in the 'dancing area' of the field. 😅

Charlie's dad did say he was off to Italy for winter, however, that's (sadly) changed, he's now saying perhaps Portugal, but not until January, Charlie and I are both disappointed with this latest update, and don't think he'll go anywhere, unfortunately! We'll see.

First batch of Christmas Puddings in soak this evening, scary but true. 😱😁

    Hi all
There's a lot to read back so I hooe you are all well. I am sorry @plant pauper, hugs to you.
I am awake thinking back to the lovely, lovely celebrations. I feel very strange, was it real? Everyone seems to have had a great time.
    Tooth held!!
Can't sleep now, I ate silly amounts of food, so good!

  • Thank you all for your kind thoughts.
I'm just back from the hospital where mum passed peacefully at about 2.30am. Now for the logistical nightmare of getting her up the motorway to her own house. Finally, after fifteen months of rhyming, ahe gets to go home.

Hello everyone.   We’ve got a nice sunny, non-windy day today.  Went out the back to check for fallen branches after the very strong winds we had recently, but all is ok.

Fruit trees are beginning to flower, even though we’ve had no rain. This photo is a Nashi tree.

The crab apple trees are going crazy as well, but I will get photos another day when my  bruised hip allows walking around the paddock. 🤬

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
dear @plant pauper … our sincere condolences at such a sad time … a peaceful passing with our loved ones is the best any of us can wish for, and she is saved from a future which may have been confusing and frightening for her, and exhausting for you. There are things that you have to do, but do let the undertakers do as much as they can … most are very good at supporting those left behind at this stage of events.
Our thoughts are with you  🤗 ☕️

  • Lovely blossom @Pat E … great that spring has arrived for you. I look forward to seeing your crab apple blossom too. Hope the bruises are getting better. 🤞
