When l described Angela Rippon as  "frumpy"' l meant her hairstyle,  it reminded me a little of the late Queen who was in her 90s. (I would never have described her late majesty as frumpy, particularly in her later years but she could give Angela a few years).
Angela usually looks so stylish and good for her age, l just thought the hair didn’t do her any favours.

Hello , we watched the show on catch up , so you can fast forward through bits
The show did seem to go on to long , perhaps they should have double elimination

Obviously , some look like no hopers and some may improve

For week 2 scoring looked to high but then it’s an entertainment show and not a serious competition

I think Craig’s comments this year, while pointing out the errors, have also included a lot of encouragement which has not necessarily been the case before.
As for the booing … to me it’s become a response to his ‘Ugly Sister’ panto persona’  … not to  any comments he makes as a judge. It’s Showbiz … not Come Dancing with David Jacobs. 😎

David Jacobs. Now there was a suave gentleman.
  • @AnniD I must admit I wasn't keen on her hairstyle. I thought it could be a wig. 🤷‍♀️

But many/most of them (chaps included) are wearing wigs, extensions, hair pieces etc. it’s part of the costume
    😊

I did think the one where  Amanda was twirled round with her partners head in her crotch was a bit much. Even Craig said it was brave.

I love Karen and she is the longest running pro dancer but she seems to have been giving her partner bad advice, ball flat not toes in the cha cha. les Denis isn't entertaining, Layton Williams is too good week two and he looks like a finalist, it could backfire though as the votes don't always go to those who are the best look at Aston Merrygold. Adam Thomas was very upset they work so hard and are so hard on themselves. Our votes went to Nigel, Bobby and Ellie.
  • Yes i know @Dovefromabove  just meant i wasn't keen on it.

I’m usual the one walking out of the room in embarrassment at something on the telly, but was laughing until I cried at Les Dennis. OH was the same. I thought Shirley was over the top in the way she tore a strip off Nigel Harman, and in week 2! It’s like she thought she was talking to a pro who had failed to listen to her advice over many weeks. I think it was mean to get a male celeb who is not an actor (Jody Cundy), to do the Paso Doble so early on. It must be so difficult to do that out-there masculinity with confidence.

Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.
