I did think of that Dove, but one of the things they want to ask me about is how to get funding!  So much of what people do is for the love of it.

Ah yes … the funding forms … it ain’t what you say it’s the way that you say it, eh? 😉

We've got unbelievably nice warm weather here, in fact it's positively hot! Enjoyed a coffee on the terrace late morning before I rather naughtily pruned the corner of the front hedge, walking stick in one hand (in case of dizziness) and secateurs in the other.
Looks much tidier now that I've cut back the branches obscuring our house number post. It's amazing just how quick the hedge grows.

After lunch, I quickly cleaned the main bathroom which daughter will use tonight if she turns up. Resting now, with my feet up and a cuppa. Dinner is just going to be fish and chips, quick and easy.

    Good morning early birds!

Early start for me.  Had breakfast.  Done Wordle and am off with the dog on bike/run before it gets too hot.  Then hopefully an early start to Lidl before the bun fight.  It is August and the beaches and camping grounds are heaving!!

    Have a pleasant sunny day.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ wall to wall blue sky here 😎

    Good luck @Hostafan1 🤞

Second coffee is on its way here … we did Artle in 1 but haven’t looked at Wordle yet … dreams were about singing in my old choir.

    Good luck with the shopping

    Morning all.

There was a big storm early this morning, grey, wet and a bit misty outside, but not raining now. I won't have to water anything today.

The mole, another one, has tunelled under plants in the orchard fence bed. Some plants were looking unhappy yesterday. 😫😡

No plans for today, except for doing Son 2's birthday album.

A large yellow orb has slowly risen in the sky this morning - I wonder what it is?

Morning all, more overcast this morning which is good but not for long then it will be hot. Went shopping yesterday and it was heaving with vacanciers and we had to queue for ages to get petrol. Were you singing out loud in your dreams @Dovefromabove?
OH wants to do some weeding but the ground is so dry that the roots will break, will he listen? Of course not, I've just seen him with the wheelbarrow!
I think I'll make a courgette tray bake.
