Brilliant @didyw … absolutely brilliant … well done you and all the team … I know how much effort goes into organising these events when the weather is on your side … so to pull that off was a phenomenal achievement. congratulations to all 🍻

Yes, very well done @didyw, glad it all went ok in the end.

OH and I are having some rare minor spats today, along the lines of him saying I didn't explain what I wanted clearly and me telling him that he doesn't listen to what I'm saying. Think we both need some space from one another as we've been mainly cooped up in the house together and he's had to do a lot of running around after me. Having said that, he does get an hour off every morning for his usual walk to get the paper!

I managed nearly an hour in the garden this afternoon, standing up and pruning the wisteria, my Claire Austin climbing rose and other bits and pieces. Enjoyed being outside in the sunshine.

    For you @Hostafan1

Crikey @didyw, that black shuck in the first photo looks terrifying. It's huge!

I've had a gardening day, dead headed, weeded, fertilised and watered. The veg garden is weeded, for the time being anyway.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
The sun is shining!!! ☀️ Hurrah!!!

Son has an early start today … he has to leave at 7 … we’re having our coffee then I’ll apply his cream and we’ll both help him dress quickly, pour coffee down his throat and he’ll set off …

Good morning all and hugs to @Hostafan1. May the good memories win over your pain at the moment.

In London but soon on our way to Bridport for the last leg of the holiday. We will spend a day with FIL then back here -don't ask, bleeming kids!- then drive home next sunday.
Not all is well in Coccinella's heart but looking forward to Jurassic coast.

    Hi all

Just had a wonderful sight, a Kingfisher on our stream, the first time in over 20 years. Sadly not actually in the garden, but where our stream joins another in the field next door.

Been a bit down the last few days, hip recovery is going well, but other health issues are increasing. I always knew this was a risk of having the surgery, so will just have to see how things go.
