Had to just nip over to Jack's because his daughter wanted to borrow a pair of flight socks from me. It started to rain as I was returning in time for GW. Signing out for tonight too. See you all in the morning.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable

I got my 10,000 steps in yesterday with a last attempt at delivering all the outliers/hidden addresses. Mostly farms up steep tracks so I might go easy today I'll take the few undeliverables back on Monday.
Good morning everyone . Well OHs hospital appointment was a complete waste of time. When he attended his appointment the first thing the consultant nurse said was : I am sorry we can’t do anything for you while you have broken skin .Come back when the broken skin has healed .The nurses at the dressings hub where he goes once a week have detailed all his problems for several months and attached them to his records. It’s clear that the nurse only read his records before they called him in to the consulting room.OH was upset because he was hoping to get some help.Wasted time and money for the NHS .If they had reviewed his notes the day before or even a few hours earlier they would have saved my OHs time , the costs for the ambulance and driver and the costs of clinical nurses.A very simple change to the review routine would save an awful lot of money and patients stress .I am unhappy about OHs disappointment and the lack of simple logical case review .
LB what beautiful pictures, the flower girl is lovely. I, too, am sorry at the passing of Michael Parkinson and remember him well, rest in peace. Hazel I rarely go into town. Topbird I found your post most interesting, especially re 1640 being the time wine bottles were introduced. Tallyho, things to do, Rosie
I'm not surprised. There seems to be a lack of communication in many areas of the NHS - and other parts of life. But with the NHS, it always seems worse. I'm sorry it's so frustrating.
Morning all. Rubee, I'm not surprised either. When I last the /my specialist he suffered from the same malaise as your nurse. It's so annoying, isn't it, after getting your hopes up ,never mind all the transport logistics etc, so flaming disappointing. I feel his and your pain through this. Why couldn't he have seen a specialist? Busy, well done on getting the album finished....just! Hope it is ready from the 25th. Biglad, the mere thought of 'stepping out 'for 10,000 times, makes me feel shattered. But then again, I don't think you've quite reached the age of 27🙂 Hooe you get finished this weekend. LB, lovely picture last night, very apt and oh, if only it could be true.

Oh Rubee, how disappointing for you both. I had hoped they were going to find a better way of pain relief.
Lily's TV has been on. It will be hot today so a good day for dealing with that. Not a gardening day.
I'm sorry it's so frustrating.
