Hello all, we had a huge storm last night with winds that blew everything about in the garden. There was a rainbow and orange sky all very peculiar.
Do as you are told @punkdoc, you know it makes sense, after all Moira was a nurse wasn't she?

    Hi all

Very humid here, I don't think storms are far away.
Moira is insisting I buy some "stuff" to go into hospital with. Not sure what she means, but I am sure it is a bad idea. :)
Do you have pyjamas, @punkdoc? OH had to buy pyjamas for going into hospital. He wore them at home after the op too as they were comfier than trousers.

No pyjamas, that is a bone of contention at the moment.

Better do as you’re told @punkdoc. Respectable pjs, dressing gown, deodorant, spongebag stuff, tissues, toothpaste, that sort of thing. Doctors seem to think all that appears as if by magic .., nurses know that it doesn’t.  Also a power pack so you can charge your phone without leaning out of bed. Marvellous things.
Oh … and a book or three to read that won’t take too much concentration … maybe some biscuits? OH says take earplugs!!!

I’m never without a power pack since my last car had an electrical fault and I was stuck on the edge of the M25 with low battery on my phone … very very scary indeed.

I’m back from the butcher and farm shop with enough food to feed an army for a few days 😂 and somehow I’ve managed to fit what’s needed into our little freezer.

OH has hung the washing out and massaged son’s grafts 🙏 and son has gone back to bed after his busy day and evening yesterday.

I watered the garden before I went out so now I can sit in the sofa and supervise the tennis …

Hospitals are noisier than they should be at night so earplugs are a good idea

Pyjama shorts could be a compromise @punkdoc, easier for wound cleaning, better if it's hot especially good for comfort when sitting in the garden afterwards 😎

I made pyjama shorts @punkdoc. I could send you those...in fact we could all get in them...at the same time. Nice and roomie. Voluminous.
