    Hello all,

Just a quick pop in to say hi.

Things not going to well here, not inclined to discuss, just keeping my head down and ploughing on. All very difficult.

Charlie is fine, had an amazing week with a friend from the UK and has booked a return visit in August. I'm happy he's happy and I'm keeping him in the dark about my issues, no need to upset him.

Life's tough sometimes, but ever onwards....

Best wishes to all of you, hope I'll be in a better place to chat soon.

    Good afternoon,
well we got the hedge trimmed at last today apart from one small bit that can’t be reached easily by the clippers and the electric cutter has given up the ghost. This means, therefore,  a trip to that famous hardware store to have a look at what it’s got. Looking on line is ok up to a point, but we want a rechargeable trimmer that both extends and retracts and doesn’t weigh too much so physically seeing one and testing it’s weight is needed. Whether we then buy on line depends upon its cost at the said hardware store (if they’ve got what we want).
Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties @D0rdogne_Damsel. Sending you a hug.

Good afternoon everyone,  glad I ignored the forecast and went to the plots this morning. Apart from the  greenhouse I decided not to water, I did some late yesterday after yoga, so I  concentrated on feeding with liquid seaweed.  I managed a few other jobs before the rain finally came around 2:30 it only latedabot 40 minutes but it's back on now, so hopefully we will get a good amount.
Hope your appointment is going/ has gone well @punkdoc .
Sorry to hear of more issues DD, hope for a speedy resolution.

We’ve had a lovely visit today from son’s long time friend (now a famous musician/rock star) … we’ve known his family since he was a nipper and son worked for his late father. He brought me the most beautiful bunch of flowers. 😊 He’s been so supportive ever since the accident … even when he was away on tour … it was lovely to see him. 😎

    Afternoon folks,

Taking it easy today after yesterday's walking. Visited the tiny 13c church where my 4 x grandparents got married in 1816, a local girl and boy from Somerset - how and why?
Not found the answers yet. Then we had a  scrumptious cake and coffee and quick look at Battle. We'd been before so didn't visit the Abbey. Back to the hotel via Hastings sea front (really shocked at just how shabby and run down it was) and along the coast.

So sorry to hear of further difficulties @D0rdogne_Damsel, hope it's all resolved soon.

Good wishes to both @Obelixx and @Punkdoc, hope all goes well.

Enjoy Hampton Court those who are going - quite envious.

    Back from pre-op assessment.
Went as well as could be expected, I can have surgery, but will need to be awake, not what I wanted, but what I expected.
Now all depends on the drs. strike. Due to be admitted 6.ooam. on 13th.
How can you lie there and think of England
