    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
I slept well once son was home at 11.30 (see the Are you awake? thread) 😊. Like having a teenager all over again. 😂

It’s 22C and a beautiful morning … a few white fluffies floating in a blue sky … and a gentle day ahead … just a trip to the farm shop for some food then the tennis to supervise…

Ah … the weather app suggests a risk of thunderstorms … but I bet we don’t get any.  It feels too fresh … not close and humid… at least not yet … 🤔

I got lots of washing dry yesterday as well @Pat E 👍  This is what my weather app says about your weather

DAMAGING WINDS averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peaks gusts of 90 to 110 km/h are likely to continue over parts of the Snowy Mountains. BLIZZARD conditions are also forecast for areas above 1300 metres. These conditions are expected to persist into Sunday. The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service recommends that back country travel be postponed until conditions improve.

Strong winds averaging 45 to 55 km/h with DAMAGING WIND GUSTS of 90 to 100 km/h are possible in remaining parts of the warning area. Windy conditions in these areas are also expected to persist until Sunday.

Locations which may be affected include Newcastle, Wollongong, Nowra, Batemans Bay, Katoomba and Cooma.

Think you’d better stay inside and knit gloves. 🤗

    Morning all.

    Sunny and warm here.

No visiting today. I have some gardening to do. Weeds, deadheading, a few plants and my new clematis to plant and the box hedge to trim.

Friends are coming for Sunday lunch and I must start preparations for that.

Oh great, Dove!   Thanks for your info. I have to say the various organisations  all seem to be agreeing this time for a change.

Morning all.  Nice and sunny here - will be out in the garden in a bit.  Managed to get one of the beds planted up.  I was grateful for the weeding I did in that bed a couple of weeks ago - which resulted in giving me a bad enough back to not be able to garden again for a week!

Now to sort out the embarrassing area by the front door - and finally get rid of the pot that cracked in the frost (which has a single weedy lily in it - a far cry from the glorious display of lilies just a couple of years ago).

Lovely pics @Busy-Lizzie - not so far from me, so really should visit at some point.

Glad the op is on @punkdoc.

Batten down the hatches @Pat E!

    Hi all

Very humid here, I don't think storms are far away.
Moira is insisting I buy some "stuff" to go into hospital with. Not sure what she means, but I am sure it is a bad idea. :)

    Good Morning Forkers

Very hot here, there are thunderstorms about but I very much doubt we will see any rain today.
@punkdoc. It's good that they did the extra checks. All will be well especially if you do as Moira says 🙃

Garden not looking so good, but I have ideas for October. Neighbour at the back mentioned a pruning of my yew hedge. I said that there are nests in it (true!) And he looked at me like an  extraterrestrial being.  Phoned the guy that cuts our yew hedges to book something for aug/sep 😉

I visited Rye last year. Lovely!

    Happy Saturday all!
