@Sheps The rhubarb we have we cook it with sugar to have after dinner. Always do too much so some goes in the freezer for eating late winter. Keeps well. The jam (with ginger) is always a good return as it keeps for years. And then of course a crumble always goes down well.

I just wash and chop the rhubarb and open freeze on a tray,  comes out good and you don’t need to precook for crumbles or pies.  Mine’s producing again now,  always goes twice.
Today picked green beans,  almost cucumbers but want to leave them to get long. Will pick some more raspberries again freezing as for rhubarb.  It’s all so wet out now,  fortunately they’ve stood up well to the winds and battering rain/hail.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Beautiful looking veg @purplerallim

And thanks for the rhubarb advice @bertrand-mabel and @Lyn

French Beans and the last of the Spring Onions and Charlottes.

And the first of the Nicola with 2 more tubs to go... I've ordered some hessian sacks to store them in the garage, not sure if they will being second earlies.

Although there are a lot of them, there's a tub in each tray, some are pretty scabby and I've made my mind up to try another variety next year.

@Sheps brilliant harvest of potatoes. We gave up doing spuds some years ago as the harvest wasn't worth the work needed. However we "still" after so many years have volunteers that sprout up in among our veg. When we harvest these we end up from one plant a better crop than we did when we were doing it "properly". Gardening is great!

Nice crop of potatoes @Sheps, similarly to @bertrand-mabel I gave up growing potatoes a while ago but have to say that fresh dug first earlies with fresh mint are a joy on the plate 😋

Today's harvest, Rosella tomatoes in the greenhouse starting to ripen now, thankfully not too much damage on the allotment, just a couple of dwarf french beans were snapped off at the base.

    Superb @scroggin

Is that a Cos Lettuce or Romaine?...as I've ordered some seeds for next year and yours looks so good 😋

Hi @Sheps, they're Lobjoits Cos. The seed was one of a set of free seeds from a GW Magazine so not sure of the seed company, but they've done very well, they've made large heads and have stood well, no sign of bolting. Most importantly they taste good too.
