@Sheps if you look back several people have said how they feel about Camilla and about why she is called queen. The wife of a King is a Queen, bit strange because the husband of a Queen in her own right is usually called Prince.
Personally, I am happy for her to be queen and so was the late Queen.

I am very happy about the Coronation. We will be witnessing a moment in history and I think our traditions are important to maintain. So much of our way of life is being eroded, our past too, and whilst many may not be patriotic in England these days, ( why is that? (please don't answer that) ) ,there are still many many people, here and around the world, i who are still invigorated and interested in our pageantry surrounding the monarchs and all that they represent.
I am very aware that the next generation in the Monarchy will probably bear no resemblance to how it is now, so, I for one, will relish this coronation and all that it represents.
It takes so long to read it all now @Sheps, seems to be a popular (?) subject.
I think the Queen and Palace did that to help Camilla as she wasn't popular with a lot of people, just to confirm it, especially because of Diana and the divorces.

I imagine Camilla's role will be equivalent to that of Queen Elizabeth the wife of George IV, Queen Mary the wife of George V, Queen Alexandra the wife of Edward VII, etc. I think they're making the point because when she and Charles married it was said that she wouldn't be queen if I remember rightly.

Any ideas from those here?
I wrongly supposed she would have a similar roll to that of Prince Philip.

Strange how the Palace made a specific point that Camilla would be called Queen to the press and media, as if it wasn't the norm.
Maybe I just got confused 🤔
Hope I don't get criticism for not reading all the thread, that seems to be a thing on here at the moment.
