    That's not what William said.

Judging a relationship from within that relationship is difficult enough - to try to judge from outside is nigh on impossible. Every situation is multi-faceted and open to interpretation.

He could have given up the Crown, married Camilla and had a life of luxury most of us could only dream of. Queen Anne has a nice ring to it.
Adults make choices and live with the consequences but decent ones don’t make choices then destroy lives because they don’t like the choices they make. He seems weak and selfish and not somebody deserving my respect.

It wouldn’t have been Queen Anne, though. ( I think she would have been great ) It would have been Andrew!!!

Now there is something to make us think, @Ergates
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

Now I like the idea of a king Andrew - that being my name.  :)

Queen B would be better. I'm awful good a waving and shaking hands too. I'm pretty sure I could knight someone without slicing their head off - in most cases.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Why not Anne surely in these modern times she would be next in line?
My point is he had a choice, and chose to behave badly.
A wonderful example to all of us commoners who are punished when we do so, he gets off Scot free and is rewarded.

What's happening with high grove now? Is that just one of his spare, tax payer funded, homes?
