I'd really love to be back home in the UK to watch it on television, but alas all I'll get is the moving pictures and Brazilian-Portugese commentary, which I understand not a word of !
Don't know why anyone would not want to watch at least some of it though, no matter how anti-monarchist they say they are. It's history being made and whether you agree with it or not matters not one jot, it's happening. S'what I reckon anyway.
When there's always biscuits in the tin, where's the fun in biscuits ?
Everything costs, always has and always will. This is a momentous moment in time and I, for one, am going to enjoy it and will watch it on the TV. Beats housework any day of the week.😂
history is made every single day. I have no intention of watching any of it. I heard today that the estimated cost is £250,000,000.
That's a bargain in my opinion. I have no issue with the cost. We spend so much on MPs, and would still do so if we had a president rather than a monarch - and that changing every 4 or 5 years, would be costly. The previous coronation was in 1953.

There’s none so blind as them that will not see, nor none so deaf as them that will not hear.
and that’s without reckoning up the lives list.
