Waste of money . Shrug shoulders
So far today I've bleached the kitchen, shampooed the carpets and scrubbed out every bin in the house.  I always end up cleaning when I'm angry about something. I'm now sitting down watching a great French thriller.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

I call married people having sex with people other than their spouses adultery.
To be fair I only glanced up from my phone for a moment maybe saw one of the quieter parts.
I am pleased people enjoyed it but I am afraid I saw it as a prime example of those with money and power breaking laws and being rewarded for it.

Interested enough to watch It on TV
For those who aren't monarchists I think Nick Cave sums it up very well.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'm whatever country'ish I was born in. I only 'like' that country because I was born there - if I had been born elsewhere I would 'like' that country. Isn't that how it works?
For those swearing allegiance - what does that mean? If CIII (like C7) went to war with Scotland, would you still support CIII? Isn't the act the thing that warrants allegiance, not a title? Or else don't you end up like the Tories supporting a bunch of crooks simply because you support Tory'ism?
Yes, I would still support CIII.

I pledged allegiance and support to my Queen years ago, and have no problem with continuing my allegiance to her successor.

What does allegiance mean in the modern world?

In my eyes, it means obeying ones commander-in-chief, and if necessary, sacrificing ones life for them.
If you think that is old fashioned, talk to those in the forces.

At least they're being paid for their allegiance

In what circumstances would you give up your life for King Charles?  I'm genuinely interested.
