    So many gorgeous photos, and I just drop by to ask questions...

    Received two lovely Lady of Shalotts this week ... will they need support? Many thanks

    @Plantminded Thank you, that is very useful. I am now researching as it does sound like it would be a good solution.

  • I’m seeing a lot of this on GJ. Please tell me it’s not early stages of Rose Rosette Disease? If not, what is it?

    To be really clear I’m seeing a lot of the withered growth specifically.

    @ciaranmcgrenera that doesn’t look like RRD. Also, if you are not in US and Canada it won’t be as RRD is only found there. It is absent from the UK and Europe for example. Could be a pest but I am no expert on these so will leave others to diagnose exactly what it is.

    Thank God for that!

    ..maybe thrips or caterpillars..  the usual hazards..

    @ElbFee
    I used to have 'The Lady's Blush', also in a dry garden, it did very well..
    'Eisvogel' reminded me of 'Eustacia Vye' somewhat.. I've lost my photos of these roses..

    @Janie B
    Well not at this stage I don't think.. it can be grown with or without support, depends on what you want to achieve with it..
