I have a Marlorena Rose, too :-) Not as big as your Mutabilis yet. Not bad though for a rose 4 months old.
Another first bloom of my May bareroot purchases. Not much scent. First blooms can be totally different from the final true blooms. Patience etc.
Second or third bloom and whoosh, the colour is as advertised.
This lady is quite happy in a really dry spot. Still finding its way through old roots of a pine tree I cut down.
Huge plant but neither floriferous nor very healthy. Is this normal or just a bad year?
One of the eadible roses from Pheno Geno. It was a bit of a challenge. But I munched a bloom. Well, it tastes like it smells, rosy. But would I make this part of my diet? Probably stick to chocolate.
Enlightened standard Chandos. Took ages to rebloom but is now smothered in buds again.
@Tack I hear you, cleaning up petals around pots is a nuisance. That's why, confess, I usually wait for wind and rain to take care of things. But I would not want to be without a sumptuous display like this close to my seat. It is bee's heaven. Standard Scepter'd Isle in the middle. Last year it was completely naked this time of year. This year, despite all the rain and high humidity it is quite healthy. Surprise.
@ciaranmcgrenera that doesn’t look like RRD. Also, if you are not in US and Canada it won’t be as RRD is only found there. It is absent from the UK and Europe for example. Could be a pest but I am no expert on these so will leave others to diagnose exactly what it is.

..maybe thrips or caterpillars.. the usual hazards..
@ElbFee I used to have 'The Lady's Blush', also in a dry garden, it did very well.. 'Eisvogel' reminded me of 'Eustacia Vye' somewhat.. I've lost my photos of these roses..
@Janie B Well not at this stage I don't think.. it can be grown with or without support, depends on what you want to achieve with it..

Received two lovely Lady of Shalotts this week ... will they need support? Many thanks
