    Has anyone got 'Dannahue'?  if so what is your impression so far..?

    I'm slowing coming around to this rose having seen it in a garden recently..

    @Tack have you found that Chandos had too much black spot for you? Was it in a pot?

    @peteS I read that you put in Mary Berry HT some years ago. How did it go, please? Strongly scented?

    @SalixGold Yes, Chandos Beauty is in a pot. It is 3 yrs old and I haven't found BS too bad though I noticed some canes are affected. The reason I'm removing it is it flowered for only one week early June and is only thinking about it again now. That is not enough for a huge rose and pot taking up space.

    It’s not difficult to rehome but I find if I know the recipient then I am somehow at fault when the rose doesn’t perform. I am happy to give advice but it’s not my fault if they don’t follow it. This is lighthearted of course but my heart sinks at the phrase “you know that rose you gave me….”
