Watching Sky's coverage of the Coronation, the background view from their studio in front of Buck House is just a sea of red statuesque tulips looking very similar to Red Impression. Very impressive.

Excellent.  Now the UK flower pics are starting to come.  Actually. my fave was Irene Koster.  And for scent.

You are off @Marlorena.. the thread will explode in a week or two..

nice warm sunny day here before a week of rain and grey skies.. My 'La France' bud seems to be  balled or hibernating.. I think its not good with rains (not a great trait in UK).. The sepals are fully opened, yet the bud is not...

Desprez a fleur Jaunes is supposed to be a strong scented Noisette.. is it? @dabolem

@Eustace lovely arrangement of petals on that Olivia.. seems Olivia will be among the first Austins for many...

@cooldoc yes, it is delightfully scented, some adorable fruity perfume.

I love it so much, it’s flower are beautiful but maybe mine has something underground that slows its growth, I don’t know, because everywhere they describe it as a fast growing one but in its 4th year mine it barely 1 m high.
Anyway, since it’s seems healthy enough and give me flowers every year,I don’t want to move it to another place yet.

Not an expert, but could it be the location? Some of mine in pot does that as well.. now in 3rd year.. I guess they will need a repotting soon..

@agnasia, sorry for the delay in replying. I find that the blooms on Elizabeth open out to an insipid yellowish centre which I don't care for on a pastel pink rose. I don't know whether it will be the same this year, I hope not.

Smashing photos everyone, I can't keep up!

For any ailing rose grown in a pot I recommend this product... it works quickly and you will soon see a difference.. used full strength..

Thanks @Marlorena. I did buy some feed specifically for roses and fed huge rose. How often do you feed the roses? Is it weekly as I think I saw mentioned on here quite a few posts back?
I hunk mine might be suffering from lack of sun. It's in a place where it just gets the morning sun as I don't have anywhere else to put it.
