Nothing like coming home from the weekend to many new blooms.
'Mrs. Herbert Stevens cl.' is in full bloom 'Amazing Day' finally, yesterday and today 'Saphir' The drive border Veronica and gallica rose 'Belle de Crecy' 'Silas Marner' 'Olivia RA' 'The Bees Knees' 'Reine des Violettes' Pheno Geno 'Mileva', already very fragrant even though not open fully yet 'Jacqueline Humery'
@Marlorena I love your 'Surpassing Beauty of Woolverstone', 'Desdemona' looking very good too. I am sorry to hear about your low temperatures. Surprisingly, after the cold April, my garden seems to be catching up nicely. Not too behind previous years, maybe even ahead.
Thank you @edhelka, I think you've got it! Robin Hood looks just like it, long leaves too. Also Petales de Rose, André Eve and Lens roses sell it and they all are based in, or deliver to, France.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I’ll need to see more to be sure, but I think my mix up rose ‘Not Vichy’ is Thierry Marx. It has the characteristic Delbard ‘look’ and glossy foliage. The buds looked right, the colour looks right, the lighter reverse too and it has a lovely rose citrus fragrance. It is a couple of roses above Vichy in the floribunda section on TCL’s website.
Not a perfect bloom, I peeled off the worst munched petals around the outside:
Lighter reverse:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

Still waiting for 8 roses to bloom! They've stopped doing anything again due to the weird weather in Kent.
