Hi there @bullfinch, yes, it is Nemesia Sunmesia Tropical. I wouldn't have ordered it, but 9 plants were sent to me in error (I had ordered gaura). Really glad they were, as they are so very pretty, and I'll probably order them next year!
New Rhododendron Polarnacht which has exceeded all my expectations and is much darker / more violet-hued in real life. I will probably kill it in my efforts to get it to bloom this well again next year!
Same here! Hopefully we’ll get a similar display next year @WAMS
@Eustace lovely meconopsis — are they very difficult to care for?
Some blooms and almost blooms, Arthur?, currently my most advanced bloomer although to me it looks more similar to @Eustace's Fresia than it does @Busy-Lizzie's Arthur Bell, Toyah Gruss an Aachen showing a peachy tint, Blush noisette gearing up Falstaff taking it's time to open
I’m very fond of agastache of all types, Marlorena. I could see them in your dry garden, but they don’t reliably return even here.
Rhododendron Polarnacht is very impressive.. and the roses.
@cooldoc, no way I could pick off the exceptional invasion of black beasties here, usually they don’t cause much damage so I leave them be. They will soon be gone, my numbers are decreasing already.
I will have to wait for intact blooms to try and ID this mislabel..
Other things..
Californian Poppies, this is an odd one out with darker, ridged petals:
Penstemon Raven barely flowered last year, now doing better and less gangly:
Geranium [something] Album spreading enthusiastically at the base of a fig tree:
A compact dahlia from the ‘Mystic’ series, forgot the name of this too!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
@Athelas those meconopsis are from Dunham Massey, not mine.
@owd potter here is a photo of my Arthur Bell, looks very much like yours with flowers in various shades ranging from bright yellow to cream depending on their age.
@cooldoc the pots are cheapo half barrel ones from wilko https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/whitefurze-barrel-planter-50cm/p/0406178 It is their 3rd season in those barrel planters. Quite easy to remove the rose plants for repotting during the dormant season as they don't have any rims, just need to topple the pots after going around the edges with a long bread knife. 😁
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
First bloom on Mrs Muriel Reynolds. Not like the picture yet, but nice shading. Lavender Ice Queen of Sweden 95th Celebration, picture changed after I brought it to plain pink, pretty, but nothing exciting so being rehomed. Glenfidditch. Lovely scent reminiscent of peaty whisky! Megan, first open on my standard. Oddessey Lady of shalott

@Eustace those pots look stunning as almost all of them are in bloom at the same time.. how long have you left them in the same pots?
