Well, the weather has spoilt itself a bit, and we now have rain (which I know we need). It’s been a glorious spring day though, and I enjoyed a lovely walk out earlier. It was really quite warm - a big contrast to the last few days.
Just waiting for dinner to cook - a “fake away” home made pizza tonight with a glass of nice red to wash it down.
Hope they’ve done your windscreen now @Allotment Boy. They’ve certainly kept you waiting.

Just popping in to wish you all a good weekend. Nothing to report here except to say that after the deluge of rain here on Thursday we are still waiting for it to stop!

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
Grey and damp here, but not actually wet … 9C at the moment … just getting ourselves ready for a trip to Broomfield. We have a new laptop for my son … a gift from my (favourite) godson’s employer 😊.

Good morning all, it's been very warm here the last two days, rain and thunder due later. We are trying to sort the garden out as it has been neglected for a while. I managed to prune a few roses but OH had to finish them as i was aching from using muscles I haven't used in quite a while. Just as well there is rugby to watch all afternoon! I see you will have to join the hip club @punkdoc, i also need to have the other one done as well due to osteoarthritis, the physio has said to leave it for a year, I certainly won't be in a hurry!

Good morning everyone,  proper rain here at the moment.  It was dry at 5 am , just as well as I remembered I hadn't put the green bin out,  ( it was very full  and wouldn't have been emptied for another 2weeks).  Even though it was still dark the birds were singing away. I did get back to sleep eventually.  🥱

    Hi all

    Mild, but damp here.
Today has been a first, after having my Xray yesterday, needed to book a GP appointment, to refer me to Orthopaedics. Our surgery has electronic booking, but I have never seen it actually working........ until this morning, when it worked and I now have an appointment.

    Hello my good Forkers,

10° here and a little sun. Going for a 7k walk in forests this afternoon. Done some gardening yesterday, it felt good to have dirty hands. There's got to be something in the soil that makes me forget everything.

The time comes for all when we have to do stuff that was "other people's" only a few years back. Courage @punkdoc!

    Very good news @Dovefromabove, 🤗.

Well done for sorting out your water butts @Lizzie27. I must get around to do something about water too, having demijons scattered about is ugly and trippy for big footed OH.

    Have a good weekend all.

    Morning all.

The sun is trying to burst through so I’ll be digging out my wellies to venture out.

I hope everyone who is itching to get gardening has the chance this weekend.

Those electronic systems at GPs are a great idea but not suitable for everyone - the oldies in my family have been very stressed and bamboozled by the prescription ordering service.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

Still wet here. OH went into town yesterday, having left it as long as possible to see if the rain would ease.  It didn't and he got wet.  I had mentioned that it was tart day in the local deli and was hoping he'd get the hint but he returned with no little treats.  I got over my disappointment and was then suitably sympathetic to his state of wetness.

Car booked in for first thing on Monday.
