Morning all and G’day @Pat E. Those bush fires sounded scary and make me think the Spring rain here is but a mild inconvenience.

Well I don’t want to get my hopes up but… a fairly dry weekend forecast so I might just get some gardening in.

    Have a decent Friday all.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

    good morning all.
I heard the dawn chorus this morning at 5.40, lovely , but I'd rather have been fast asleep

    Good Morning all

Appointment today has been moved on monday and for some reason we were notified, or we were and I messed up. Either or, it is very annoying having to wait another 3 days to understand what is really wrong with me and what I am supposed to do. Well I hope I will get to know ... on monday. We are going to visit some friends in northern Ireland next Thursday, so they'd better not mess up with me again. 😠

I am going to get some garden therapy this morning and sod the rest.

I wish you all a very good friday my forkers.

Rain forecast this morning but brighter this afternoon so heading to the coast for a walk and a tearoom with littlest Chicklet and Mr C.

Spent a very happy day at West Dean yesterday making woven hazel supports for hyacinths.  Very mindful 🧘🏼‍♀️

Seeing those hyacinths reminds me I need to move a couple of pots to safety in the greenhouse or the deer will have them - again!

Our deer leave hyacinths alone @steephill - too busy munching tulips and bluebells 🤬.  Hope you salvage yours in time 🤞🏻

    Hi all

Beautifully warm today, have been gardening without my fleece on. Long may it continue.

Hi folks,  Still sorting out excess paint and paper from decorating.  Have to return a roll of expensive paper and also send a heater back I bought for the conservatory as it's only working when it feels like it.  Have no idea how I'm going to get it to the sorting office it weighs a tonne.  Have found someone to fit the new blinds in the bathroom.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the jobs that need doing and being too tired to do them.
    Enjoy your day everyone.

Hello all ... a bit late on parade today  :)

We're into a different schedule now as my son is in the Rehab Ward ... I've been on the phone sorting out a new phone SIM card and liaising with his boss re a new phone, as son no longer has a phone in his room and he's feeling a bit isolated ... the physios say this will improve as he gets more mobile of course ... and the way the Rehab Ward is set up is very different to ICU.  We'll be there to visit him tomorrow and Wonky and Papa Womble will be there on Sunday with a guitar for him  B)

I've also been on hold for a while to DVLA (again) as they seem not to have received (lost) the information they asked for and which I sent on the 20/2 to cancel son's road tax DD ... I have had apologies, and a request to resend it by Recorded Delivery ... which we have just done.  It's a good job I had good secretarial training many moons ago and keep dated records and copies of everything.

    @punkdoc ... I wouldn't be going outside here without a fleece Brrrr!
