Hi Dove, thanks for letting us know. I was rather concerned about Hostafan.

Yes I was a bit concerned too but a bit slow in posting.
Coincidentally I  have been cutting down on my posting not for the same reason as Hosta.  I  mostly post from my phone now and a recent "feature"
is a weekly summary of screen time and app usage,  it made me realise how much time I  have been spending on here. I  do enjoy keeping up but I'm conscious that it's not always good to be constantly staring at a screen.

So very sorry to see that Hosta has decided to take a break from the forum. @Dovefromabove please send him our sincere good wishes for whatever he decides to do in the future. We will miss him and this forum will feel a little empty without his regular and valued posts.
  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Hope @Pat E ‘s shoulder is feeling easier. 😊

It’s still painful Dove. Although, it was a bit better in the morning.

    Good morning Forkers

@Pat E   Goodness!  You are in the wars!!  Ligaments need time to heal.... are you strapped into something?

Bon vent to Hosta - spring is not far off and by the sounds of it, he has his work cut out for a while.  I only hope it relieves his sadness.

3°C here and the sun is coming up.  The week seems to have flown by for me.  I did make a start on the weeding and will do some more tomorrow - weather permitting.  Friends for dinner tonight so my day will be centred around that.  White wine and Prosecco in chill mode!!  On top of that I was awake at 4am this morning - impossible to get back to sleep!!  Grrr.

Today:  Séverin et ses coquins, font tout geler sur le chemin.    Yes, we have a light frost this morning

Have a pleasant weekend one and all.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

  • Yes @Pat E … have you got that shoulder supported?  Even a sling would help. Arms are heavy things to dangle off the end of a complex joint.

Wonky has a sore shoulder too … I hope she’ll be able to rest it a bit this weekend.

    Hello Forkers,

a lot happening in my 2 days' absence. I wish @Hostafan1 all the best, he will be missed here. I do understand that sometime you need to move on; when and if he will come back we will be here.

@Pat E. Oh so so sorry about your shoulder, did not need that eh? Sending hugs from Luxembourg.

We have bought all the material for insulating the garage roof. It took sometime to choose and to take home hence my absence yesterday. Like many older houses here our garage is below the house and its ceiling needs insulating as our floors above are really cold. We bought 4 cm thick insulation, it should be enough I hope. So today will be spent holding OH tools for the job, he has to work with his arm above his head, can be quite tiring. Watch this post for progress (or not!)

Wish you all a lovely weekend!

Vill Gléck a bescht Wënsch Hosta. x

    Morning all.

Bit grey and gloomy outside. My jeans wash needs to go on the line, but my expectations are low for them drying.

I hope all aches and pains improve. My foot has been quite a bit better so I hope that settles now. Just planning the rest of the weekend, but R&R will be a key feature.

Have a lovely weekend all - whether you are relaxing, being productive, or something in between.
