  • Good afternoon everyone,  well the plumber came after a false start, (he nearly went to a different job). He wasn't best pleased when he saw how tricky the job is but to his credit he has knuckled down and got on with it. He nearly at the clearing up stage. Fingers crossed.
Well we are on the curry wagon tonight too  but our chicken was cooked earlier in the week.  This will be meal no 3 from it.
As to using old things from the freezer the only caveat I know of is that,  unless it's at -30 or below fats and oils continue to degrade, so that may be why yours wasn't the most delicious Hosta.
    Anyone heard from @punkdoc recently?

Ah yes I remember him mentioning that,  just noticed he hasn't posted for a while.

  • Plumber has finished Hurrah,  we have a shower control thet you can turn with one hand  again, and the 🌡 is stable.  Apparently these things are designed to fit from the front but I really really didn't want to disturb the tiling,  so he had to go in from behind from inside the airing cupboard.  We now have a hole in the plasterboard to fill in but no matter.  Now all we need is for the parts for the new wardrobes to turn up on time Monday morning, for the next man to build them.

Do you have to close your account @Hostafan1? Can't you just leave it? We'll be sorry to see you go. One day you may feel like coming back. Hope so. I just hope you aren't so depressed you'll do something silly. Please don't.

Hi folks … I’ve had a lovely long chat with Hosta … he thanks you all for your concern and support … he’s ok, but feels he needs to take time away from social media stuff, at least for the time being … I think we can all understand that … he and I will keep in touch as always … he says he’s disabled Notifications from this forum so he won’t feel prompted to look in unless and until he feels ready.

Again, he sends his thanks to you all for your care and support over the past few very difficult years.
