I'm still waiting @Red maple and not very happy about it either.

No, you won't be. It's so annoying having to wait around, especially when an approximate time is given. As soon as you leave the room, the Dr will ring.

I remember once I was given a time for the Dr to phone me which would be 6pm. He rang at 3. Luckily, I was in, but I could so easily not have been, thinking I would be ok until 6pm. Our time is important too!

I had a definite appointment at 10.20 am ,red Maple. It's the constant being aware that she may ring sometime, that keeps you on edge really, always waiting, waiting. You're right, our time is just as important.

Afternoon all. Well @Biglad, 'fess up. Did an errant plant launch itself at you today?
Ruby, I did have a nice time with my Bestie after her daughter had done my hair for me. Hope you did finally manage to get sorted with an appointment Hazel. You are right about the DVDs but I'm sure, despite some sad feelings, it will be wonderful to see the recordings.
Red maple, one of my sisters is a big Pilates fan too and she feels it does her good.

I hope the Doctor rang, Hazel. So hard to get hold of one nowadays. OH waited all morning for Specsavers but they rang in the afternoon. He can't go anywhere at the moment anyway. He's lost a hearing aid. I've searched everywhere.

OH is gradually getting more mobile. His leg was swollen, now very bruised. I washed his hair this morning.

I went to Morrisons this morning as OH felt he would be OK on his own and we were starting to run out of a few things. We only have a small freezer. I was glad to see that the fruit and veg shelves were full, no shortages. They even had ironing water in again.

We watched another episode of Merlin while we had our snack lunch. I'll miss it when we've watched it all, but then I thought that about Granchester and Father Brown. Merlin isn't at all the same story that I read when I was young about the Knights of the Round Table, Merlin was old and Guinevere was a princess. In the TV one Merlin is young and Guinevere is a serving maid.

Rosie I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I really hope that he can get some decent sleep tonight. It must be so hard with all of that pain.
Busy, my friend told me that the physioterrorist was very pleased with the progress she is making and your OH is just a couple of weeks behind so he must be mending well too. I remember those Merlin programmes. I think they were a few years back. I quite enjoyed them but as you say Busy, they don't ring true to the stories I was familar with at school.

A very good morning one and all. It is so nice to see how light outside it is this morning. Of course this is the month in which - later on - we change our hour and then Spring will finally have arrived.

Bestie and I discussed the possibility of hiring a skip together to get rid of 'stuff' no longer needed. We were round at her friend's house yesterday after I had had my hair done and a lady from the auction house I used to go to before the pandemic came round to look at any items that would be considered suitable for auction. Definitely not pictures or brown furniture so there will be a great deal of stuff there to go to the tip. I had been thinking of getting a skip on my own but whilst we were talking, sharing one would mean we could get a bigger one, so we decided that was a distinct possibility. I can also see a few car boot sales in the near future.
