I got a load of tidying up in part of the front garden finished this morning before a bit of rain started but by then, having done what I wanted to do, I was very smug faced. My bigger green bin is quite full - ready for collection this Thursday.
Busy, I was pleased that the pain you were suffering had cleared up this morning.
Hazel, good to see you back - just take things easy until you are sure you are fully recovered (NO PAINTING!) and I suppose it is possible you might have had some complications when you had your appendectomy to be in so long. They do seem to want you up and out as soon as possible these days. My friend who had her hip replacement op a fortnight ago had her stitches taken out today - 31 in total - and she went for a short walk down her drive. No pain, no creaks and she is raring to go now.
Well it is quiz night tonight on TV so I am signing out now. Fingers still crossed for a clear sky though it isn't looking too promising at the moment. Enjoy your evenings all.

I'm sorry your pain has been so bad @Songbird-2, sending gentle hugs.

I did manage to get another bottle of liquid morphine for OH. I had to go to the surgery. The phone message said their lines were so busy all calls were closed.

I've booked a ferry to go back to France the end of April. I expect I will have missed seeing my French daffodils. I've planted around 400. Maybe I'll get to see my roses first flowering this year.

Busy, good that you've got some more medicine for OH, phew! I really hope he recovers well now and  can both get on with life and have some adventurers together,,pain free😊
    Steady away.
LB, good to hear your friend is recovering well too, it's marvellous what medicine can do nowadays. In the days of my appendix operation people were kept in hospital for ages to aid recovery, not for any problems.  When I had the kids, I was in hospital for a week afterwards too. All so long ago now.
Goodnight everyone, signing off for today.

    Good morning all.

Very cold morning, and luckily no more snow. We are back to school, so I need to go out in half an hour. One positive thing about this bad weather is how many different kind of birds come on feeders and water. It's pleasure to watch them. My seed potatoes arrived in the shop, and tomorrow I'm going to collect it.

Wish you all a nice day and see you later.

Good morning Ante and all later arrivals. Is good news about the snow Ante but don't hold your breath - there could still be more to come. I really enjoy watching my little feathered friends too.
Busy, pleased to hear that you managed to get sorted with the medication for your OH. I hope he continues to progress.
@Red maple - too much cloud and light pollution here last night so I didn't get a glimpse of the Northern Lights. One day..........

Good morning Ruby. Sorry to hear your OH is still feeling a lot of pain and so glad he can take something to ease it. I have just got back in from a SM dash. I really do NOT like driving in the winter sun - I need an extension on my eye shade in the car. I'm sure I remember people, who are vertically challenged like me, used to be able to get them. I must do some research. On my way home and stopped by the dratted traffic lights at the bottom of my lane I noticed a sign informing me that the road is going to be closed on the next 3 Sundays. Deep joy!

Good morning all. A day of errands today, fiancé has a diabetic review then I want to get compost from b&q as I read they had some good offers then out for lunch then much excitement as I have sourced horse manure locally and will be picking up 20 bags! I need to drop in some birthday cards and a few bits from Tesco and then finally a lazy evening.
Cold here again and grey. Hope March is an improvement

Morning all. It's cold here too today but not raining, we had enough of that over the past few days. OH has done the last bitnof the pruning this morning before we head out to the local skip, then we have to go into town to deposit a cheque.( what are those!?). We were both up late this morning which has ruffled the feathers so we're in a dash.
Rubee, I sympathise with your OH and the pain, it drags you down something awful. I hope the medicine continues to work for him and take the edge off.
Debs, busy day ahead for you, but lovely manure  will do the garden a power of good, get ready for the continuing  smell for a few weeks😬😂
    Catch you all later.

    Good morning

It’s drizzly and chilly here today, but I did pop out to the letterbox and enjoyed the brief walk. I might even be tempted to wrap up and go for a walk after lunch - I’m becoming very sloth like!

It was the same here, last night @Ladybird4 - too much cloud. Like you, I’d love to see them, but don’t know if or when I will, but never say never 😊.

Sorry to read that your OH is in so much pain @Rubee, and hope the morphine will soon kick in and ease it for him.

Thats a lot of manure to collect @debs64, it’ll build your muscles up loading that and then later spreading it 😁.

Well, I’d better get on. Take care.
