Red Maple, you've had a busy day like us, I am rather tired now. Am making a very easy tea and then a long soak in the bath beckons. A good steaming bath would do you good too Ante, open those airways and some Albas oil. I used to get sinusitis regularly but always had to get antibiotics to clear it, it was so painful. There are plenty of lurgies  going round here too at the moment. Good it isn't covid though.Â
Good afternopn all. Well we were rushed off our feet at the Food Bank today. A sad state of affairs in this day and age but at least we had a lot of happy clients.
Busy, the restaurant looks very nice and I'm sure you both enjoyed it.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
We did enjoy our lunch, thanks @Red maple. I had salmon with tarragon sauce and OH had chicken tagliatelli with leek and pea shoot sauce. It was nicely presented and the helpings weren't too big so we could have dessert, millefeuilles of mango and pineapple for me and pears in red wine sauce for him. We took a country route back, little lanes, pretty villages, thatched cottages.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I am going to sign out for today as my eyes are very tired. I hope that they improve for tomorrow as it is a Quizzers meal out and I/m looking forward to seeing all the gang again. Enjoy your evenngs all of you and I'll see you tomorrow.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Ante, a hospital specialist once told me ( many years ago)that I was reacting to the heat during winter and office germs ) we couldn’t open the windows- they were stuck fast) so advised me to take an antihistamine every day and to use something called Sterimar. ( not advertising here, recommendation only). The latter we are still using today as it is very gentle aid to keeping the nose clear and opening up the airways if stuffed up. It certainly helped me.
LB you’ll be tired out tonight, you deserve a restful night. Hope your eyes are ok.Â
Miserable weather here again - very February However, the Hungarian Hot Wax chillies have germinated in my micro-greenhouse (plastic fruit tray 'inner' contained in a Ferrero Rocher box [other chocolate and hazelnut confectionery is available]). Keeps all the moisture in and it must be warm enough in the kitchen for them. Not sure where I'll keep them when they start getting bigger but will cross that bridge if and when.

LB, take a long rest. You certainly deserve one. Hope you will be fit tomorrow for lunch.
I have my cup of tea. Poirot will be soon, so this is entertainment for tonight.
Hope you get sorted @Ladybird4
