    Very good Dove šŸ˜‚
She disappeared when I screamed. Didn’t see her again until morning. 🤭

    Morning all.

There is a white frost this morning, prettier than yesterday, but not quite as cold.

Yesterday when I went to empty the rubbish the recycling bin was frozen shut, had to use both hands to pull it open.

Morning all, cold and frosty this morning - colder inside as well as the back door is open with a hosepipe emptying all the radiators, boiler chappy has started work. Water off's. Had to quickly empty out the airing cupboard so he could get at the radiator that's right at the back. Didn't know I had so much rubbish in there so a good opportunity to sort it all out and get rid of a lot. Been meaning to do that for a long time.
Ā I've got four layers on and two pairs of socks. It's going to be a long day. OH has walked down to the shop for the paper.

That was a nasty shock @Pat E not good for one's nervous system. Love the pictures of your birds. I see that you have had a smattering of snow too this morning @Ergates, has it stopped now or is it still falling.
We have had about another two inches overnight. Daughter manfully (womanly) set off for work at around 4.30, got round the first corner of the lane and pulled into the small forestry entrance (before the mile long downhill slope) and phoned work only to be asked what she thought she was doing and to get back home at once!
Stay safe everyone and dont go out and about if the weather conditions are not good.
  • Good morning,Ā  yes another hard frost here too. It's colder here, much colder than yesterday.Ā  When IĀ  went down the garden to put the mealworms out for the birds, the bark chip path was very crunchy.Ā
    Love your photos @Pat E, and @Ergates.Ā

Gosh @Lizzie27, I feel for you. Not a good time to have that sort of work done.

The sun went in and it snowed again about an hour ago, but hasn’t really made it any worse. Temperature up to 1.3C now. Luckily, no real need to go out today, but the road looks clear.
Sorry to hear about your friend, Lizzie27, our neighbour died on Christmas Day. Only really knew him to chat to, but he was a very friendly person. Also very unexpected and sudden.Ā
