    Evening folks.

Sorry to hear your news @Lizzie27

Minus 4 this morning but my car prep worked well. Been on a course today - a change to be a candidate not a teacher!

    Home and settling in now.

    Have a cosy evening all.

So sorry to hear the sad news about your friend @Lizzie27.

Lovely bright sunny day here today, freezing of course but no wind. Suddenly just after lunch the sun disappeared and it started snowing! Large white flakes falling thickly for about half an hour. Ground well covered and trees and plants looking very pretty (and clean). Just as fast as it appeared it disappeared again, but everywhere still white as it is too cold to thaw. Motoring tomorrow might be a problem.

@AnnaB, @Dovefromabove and @Busy-Lizzie, thanks, you're all very kind. Struggling to process the news. It doesn't seem real.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Another hard frost this morning and all is white out there. 🥶 Stay safe out there folks … don’t go out unless you absolutely have to. Stay in and have another cuppa and a bowl of porridge 🥣 ☕️

Hi Dove.  We had rain today which was a relief from the heat.

I had a disturbed night though. At some time between 3 and 4 am, we estimate, Pixel landed all four feet on top of me in bed when I was sound asleep.  I woke up screaming.  What a fright I got!  She’s heavier that I thought! 😳

I just went out to the veranda to close up for the night (7.15pm here) and discovered the White Cockatoos having a feed on fallen crabapples.  They soon scattered when they heard me though.
