Hello all, it's dark and cold out there now but I'm too lazy to get up and draw the curtains. Had a terrific storm overnight and heavy rain all morning so decided to take the car down to get the paper - big mistake as everyone else had the same idea and I ended up having to do a figure of eight twice around the village before I found a parking spot.

Felt a bit lost with not being able to do any gardening today - first time in weeks but better get used to it I suppose. Had a parcel of hyacinth and tulips from the RHS delivered so will plant those out when it's dried out a bit.

Good to know that Hostafan's okayish, thanks for letting us know Dove. I fear the black dog's getting to my daughter again so I'm hoping my visit next week will help to cheer her up a bit. It could of course have the opposite effect!!

    Enjoy your evening.

  • So many suffer at this time of year @Lizzie27 … does she have a one of those daylight lamps, and goes she take Vit D etc? Β I know folk who swear by them.Β

    Agree @Dovefromabove.
I have a long history of depression, which always tends to rear its ugly head at this time of year. I use a light box, take vit. D and also find daily fresh air a great help.
Hope your daughter gets better soon, @Lizzie27

Thanks Dove and Punkdoc. My daughter did try a light box but couldn't cope with the bright light. She does take Vitamins. I was hoping when she managed to get a new rental with a garden last year that would help a lot and I think it is - slowly.

Good morning to all. Sky is clear this morning, there is a very bright Mars up there. Still warm, rain promised for later.
    Medicals, then lunch with friends.Β

    Take care all.
