    Good morning to all.

Quick Hello and I'm off the road. Hope to come back around noon. Tomorrow is bank holiday, so it will be a lot of traffic.Β

Have a nice day, and see you later.

Good morning Ante (Lily sends a miaow to little cat!) You will be home before you see this message so I hope everything has gone well.
Biglad, I was sorry to read that about your Mum missing out on seeing the children but all the love caught up in those garments will have been cherished I'm sure.

    Happy Halloween πŸŽƒΒ
lots of trickle treaters last night I gave rearranged my hours today so I should be home in time to treat the little ones tonight. I have more sweets to buy today.Β
I was up ridiculously early but I was asleep at 9.30 last night it takes me a while to get used to the new times.Β
    @Ladybird4 Β you are all so clever I can’t even cast on!Β

Good morning Debs. I actually heard some fireworks last night! Thank you for your kind words about the knitting. Weather sounds similar to mine here. Wind is blowing a hooley. I am nipping into the village to get rid of a pile of dead batteries I've had hanging around in the house for ages. Traffic is already building up due to road works that appeared in the lane on Friday so I may be longer than I planned. I want to get Lily's TV underway on my return.

    Morning all,

Looks like Marti may have cleared off for a bit :D Clear, fresh and blustery seems to be the order of the day.Β

It was a terrible shame @Ladybird4. She was killed when they were a few weeks old but had been working away so only got one, brief visit with them whilst they were still in the hospital.Β

I may even plant out a couple of pots today. Although my body is groaning in the aftermath of returning to r-a-a-f duties.

    Morning all.
Hope Ante has made it to the vets and alls well with him.
Biglad , I was sorry to hear about your mum, that must have been dreadful. Take it easy a bit after your reffing duties.

    Morning all.

    I hope it isn't Shingles @Songbird-2.Β Β

We go back to France tomorrow. I hope the journey isn't too much for OH. Have to take a train to the airport. We'll come back by car and ferry in January. I have various things to do today to prepare.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Got to the village by going the slightly longer way around but it did mean I missed the stationary traffic governed by the temporary lights. Got rid of the batteries, did a little bit of salad shopping and got held up a tiny while on my homeward journey. Lily's TV went on and wet cloth things are out. Typically the dark clouds have gathered and I am expecting Marti which will mean a few swift dashes out to retrieve them.
Biglad, I suspected that might have been the case regarding your Mum but at least she did get chance to see her grandchildren. A wee bit of gardening will help to loosen up those reffing pains (should I have left the 'r' off??).
Have I missed something somewhere? Hazel, have you got shingles?

Busy, don't think it's shingles eek! LB, I did post that I'd woken up with some very tender sore spots along my spine this morning, but then deleted it, soz.Β
