    Afternoon all.

Hazel. I'm glad that your wrist is ok now. I would love to slept in this morning, but not possible.

Bussy, your lunch sounds lovely, and for such good price.

I'm still little bit tired since yesterday, but it will pass. Outside is bitterly cold, windy and in last few minutes with light snow. 🥶 I bought yesterday my favorite tea and few spices for Christmas. It is beautiful store with shelves full with spices, tea, dried fruits. Smell inside is divine.
Well, it's time to make cup of tea and put me feet up.

Good afternoon everyone. Busy, you seem to find lots of really nice restaurants near to you. Your lunch sounded wonderful - as ever. When you were listing the ingredients I was reminded of an accompanying dish we used to have in Malta called caponata. It went well with swordfish - think it was just the mention of aubergine.
Hazel, I hope that you got an interesting plant at the G.C. and it is good to hear that your wrist ache has improved.
Red maple, my weather was like yours today. I've just been and filled the bird feeder in the back garden and taken some stuff down to the compost bin and by golly but its chilly out there. Suspect a bit like your temperature Ante. I was glad to get back inside to hug a mug!
I really enjoy going into shops like you describe Ante. The mingling of all those lovely smells is the nicest of assaults on your senses. Somehow - I have no idea why - the smells make me feel warm! Enjoy your Earl Grey?

Good evening everyone .I forgot to post this morning .Still very cold here.LB and Busy I read the book years ago. They changed the title a little when they made it into a film. The title was  Schindlers Ark . Based on a true story ,very very sad .
Bitterly cold day .  I have done jobs indoors and made a few online purchases .
  • Ante your biscuits look delicious.  LB I had a walk today, quite a crisp morning.  I hope you’re warm and dry,.  Hazel I ordered a jumper this afternoon to get more use out of my dresses.  It’s green with some dark green pearls. Should keep away the chilly weather..  I’ve booked my covid jab, lucky I rang as not many slots left but availability this week.  Hope all are well.  I’ve changed for bed after tea and relaxing.  Have a good evening.

Hello Ruby and Rosie. Good to see you Ruby. I have done that a few times. Its easy to do when you get a bit distracted.
Rosie, I am thawed out now after my inspection in the garden. I love the sound of your new jumper!
Ha ha ha Ante - silly me!

I bet that Biglad is footballed out. Handy brother is going on holiday next week and he is looking at the World Cup matches, planning the best ones to view if the weather is not good then I think he and his mate will find a nice pub and enjoy the atmosphere.

Evening all. Had a lovely trip out this morning to one of our favourite garden centres. Packed full with Christmas debs etc one " room" was themed as 'white', I didn't like it as I actually  felt cold walking through it! Mad. In the end there were so many different themed rooms that we stopped looking and seeing what was there. It was  too much. However, I did pick up a miniature Paddington Bear ornament for our " little shelf". Wonder if 23 will notice it next time he visits!?
@Ladybird4 LB, not much in there in the way of plants but OH did spy a little baby Yew tree which we got. We had a beauty at our old house and have always liked them. We are going to pot it up in a large planter for now as we don't really want any trees in the garden to manage. Should be ok in the planter which will discourage massive growth.
@wfnp5bk4spsSNFYKh1 ,Rosie, I, too, have got a new cardigan today..And it's green! Great minds! Mine is quite thin to the touch but so warm on. Hope yours keeps you nice and snug and warm. Hope your walk was refreshing for you too. Good  to hear you've got a covid jab booked too. That will stand you in good stead and hopefully you'll be ok after it.
@Rubee , I found  Schindlers List a very disturbing film. I can still recall how I felt seeing the little girl in the red coat. So very sad.
@Ante1 not too long before the weekend now when you can fully recover from yesterday. Days like that always leave the emotions frayed and raw and take some settling down afterwards. A good walk with Max, work at the cottage.....that is if it's not snowed again before that!
